The 24th James Bond film is officially titled Spectre.
Coming November 6, 2015. Revealed in a live announcement, with an all-star international cast and poster and title that clearly evokes Bond's classic organizational nemesis (SPECTRE).

- Next James Bond Film Gets a Title, Cast

In a live announcement made this morning from Pinewood Studios, Eon Productions, MGM Studios and Sony Pictures also confirmed new cast members Christoph Waltz, Léa Seydoux, Monica Bellucci, David Bautista and Andrew Scott. They join franchise veterans Daniel Craig (Bond), Ralph Fiennes (M), Ben Whishaw (Q), Naomie Harris (Moneypenny) and Rory Kinnear (Tanner) in the Sam Mendes-directed film.

Any Bond fans in the house?

Saw this earlier today and I am thrilled. Die hard Bond fan, can't wait to see what this one brings us.

Skyfall has to be probably my second favorite Bond movie of all time (first is Goldeneye. I love me Pierce Bronson). Daniel Craig portrays the more action-y Bond very, very well. So I know for a fact that this movie is going to be awesome!

Good news. While I'm not a huge James Bond fan, I've really enjoy the Daniel Craig series so far. I can't wait.

Big congrats to my man Dave Baustista! It may sound silly, but he's a big inspiration to me; in that you're never too old or disabled to attempt your aspirations in life.

Never was a fan of these movies until I saw Daniel Craig play Bond. I loved Casino Royal. I love Aston Martin DBS coupe. I love strange exotic women that might get ya wacked by some crime boss. Therefore I liked these movies.

Wow. I thought SkyFall was the last of the James Bond movies. That villain was so creepy. What's his name? The guy from "No Country for Old Men"! Spectre. Interesting title. Could mean war now that Ms.M agent is dead

Damn, got my hopes up.

I'm not as excited about Bond films as I used to be. I was a kid when the Brosnan films were coming out, and I remember them as sort of being a big deal. I distinctly remember going to see Tomorrow Never Dies with the family in our small town theatre, and being amazed at how many people were there. There's actually a balcony in that theatre that's usually off limits, but so many people showed up to that, we were allowed to sit up there. Looking back, that movie sucks, but it's a really fond memory for me.

We had a random assortment of Bond films on VHS when I was little and we'd watch them from time to time, back when families used to watch movies they owned more than once, and together. My favorites were (and still are) Timothy Dalton's, and I really can't tell you why. I feel the same way about them as I do Batman and Batman Returns v. the Nolan films.

I was really excited to Casino Royale, and I liked it quite a bit. It was different, edgier, no more zany antics. However, Quantum of Solace really cooled me on the Craig series. I thought it was boring, the fight scenes were over choreographed and dragged on way too long, and the scenes in the desert killed my eyes. Skyfall was better, but I watched it long after it came out and on my computer - I kinda regret that now. Hopefully this one will be good. I'll give it another chance and go see it in the theatre.

I have watched all Bond movies, except for SkyFall, so I fairly excited to see the new one. Especially, since it will feature Spectre and, possibly, Blofield.

My favorite movies in the series are: License to Kill, View to a Kill, Living Daylights, Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, Dr. No, From Russia with Love, Thunderball, For Your Eyes Only.

Special mention goes to: MoonRaker and Die another Day as winners in the "so bad it's good" category.

Having read the leaked shooting script, I can honestly say this is going to be ten times better than Skyfall. I can't wait to see this shit in action.

- James Bond is Dressed to Kill in New ‘Spectre’ Poster

Spoilers: (Highlight to reveal)
Star Daniel Craig may be a little overdressed for the occasion, however, as the figure looming in the background appears to reference the film’s opening sequence, set at a Day of the Dead festival in Mexico City.

Keep getting caught looking in the other direction when there's news, but that's a pretty eye-catching poster!

Albert R. Broccoli's EON Productions, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios, and Sony Pictures Entertainment today confirmed that Sam Smith has recorded "Writing's On The Wall," the theme song to SPECTRE, the 24th James Bond adventure.

Smith said: "This is one of the highlights of my career. I am honoured to finally announce that I will be singing the next Bond theme song. I am so excited to be a part of this iconic British legacy and join an incredible line up of some of my biggest musical inspirations. I hope you all enjoy the song as much as I enjoyed making it."

He says the new track isn't departing far from his usual style: "I wanted to inject as much me as I could into the song and then dress it in a Bond way if you know what I mean, I sing love songs that's what I sing and that's what I wanted to do - I wanted to write a huge love song."

"Writing's On The Wall" will join an overall catalogue that make up some of the most memorable movie music of all time including "Goldfinger," "Nobody Does It Better," "A View To A KIll" and most recently the Oscar winning "Skyfall." The song, released by Capitol Records, will debut and be available to purchase and stream on September 25.
