Spider-Man 2 (Video Game)

Well i dont know if there's already a topic on the game cuz i havent to been to general disscussion in a while, so if there is jsut close this thread

anyway, i just bought this game 2day, came out on friday and i must say im really impressed, the swinging around the freeroam city is worth the $50 alone. The small tasks can get alittle repetive but the cutscenes and the actual Doc Oc story are great and im finding myself quite addicted already, this is the first break ive taken since noon. But anyway what im asking is does anyone else have this game yet and if u dont and r a fan of Spider man then u need to by it now. Its free roam GTA style (not quite that free raom but the same concept) Spidey's moves are great and dead on and the boss fights are fun and just swingin round the city is fun. So ya, disscuss if u wish.

My cousin rented it.I talked with him on the phone earlier and he said he already finished it.I thought Spider Man 2 was alright.I wish the Swinging was improved though.It feels a little stiff in my opinion.

At first it did to me 2, the whole game felt stiff but after playing it for awhile it loosend up and now its really easy to control.

I played it a little but not too long.Once you upgrade your swinging abilities I think it'll feel alot smoother.

I miss the Web Gloves from S-M1sad

A good way to swing for PS2 is hold X and keep on pressing R2

That's one way of swinging.There is another way also.Just press R2 then release it again.Rinse and repeat.
By the way,does anyone think it's about time to release a Spider Man Collection?With the old Spider Man games that were on SNES,Sega CD ETC?Another question what does the slow motion effect do in Spider Man?I forgot what it was supposed to do.

Hell yes, and the slow motion effect slowes everything down drasticly except your alot faster than everything, it inhances ur spidey sences, and unlockes new moves once in it.wow

I got it but I'm stuck on the part where you have to stop mysterio from messing with that statue, I've gotten to the part where you are swinging around the thing with legs and you have to destroy all the orbs then get on top of the surface and destroy the brain. I destroy all the orbs but I can't seem to get up enough speed to get back on the top before the blades start going, and if I DO manage to get there the blades are going slow but they still hit me and I fall. I hate to say this, but....I wish there was a level select cheat code because this is just too f*ckin hard for my taste, if anyone knows of any other cheats besides the ones at gamespot.com, please let me know.

I am thinking of buying this game. I want to know if it is any good and also the replay value. If I buy it I get a spiderman ps2 controller and the game for AUS$95.
It looks good and has good reviews at ign and gamespot. I thought it'd be best to ask you ppl.

As far as I know, ther are 4 bosses. Rhino, Mysterio, The Lizard, and Doc Ock of course. I had a dream that I finally got past that part where you have to destroy all of the orbs and then destroy the brain thing. Too bad that it can't come true, that shit is hard as fuck and I need some codes now.grin
