I thought the 1st spider man movie was ok. I felt that the Spider man part of the film wasn't as good as the Peter Parker part. Overall thought a good film. What also suprised me was how well the Spider man movie game was. I love it. As for Spider man 2 the movie trailer I've seen bits and part to it but never the full trailer. Looks pretty good. Also I've seen Spider man 2 the game. It looks amazing. I am going to pre order that game on the 10th of this month. In all both movie and game is looking better than the ones released 2 years ago.

Dr. Ock looks cool. I can't wait for Venom and Carnage though. They may want to put them in the series soon while Spider-Man movies are still hot.

Spider-Man 2 looks like a kick ass movie. I'll sure as hell see it when It comes out. Dock Ock is one of my favorite bad guys in Spider-Man and he looks like he is 10 times more dangerous than the Green Goblin.

I dunno if Ock was the right choice of villain for this one, because of the risk of being too repetitive - we've just had a scientist who invents some dangerous contraption, uses it on himself, goes nuts and tries to kill Spider-Man. I guess it allows the story to continue smoothly though.

They'll almost certainly make a third one, though, since this one is bound to make a ton of cash, and I wouldn't be surprised if they use Venom as the next villain. Everyone wants to see him, may as well give the fans what they want.

This film is going to rock and I can't wait to see it! Doctor Octupus is my fave Spidey baddie and he looks so badass! The trailers for the film are amazing!

They've already named 2007 the date for the next Spiderman film and have apparently said they will make Spidermans 4,5 and 6.

Holy f****ing shit!!! Spider-man 2-6!! these movies are going to RULE. and those big tentacles on Dock Ock look BAD@$$, spider-man is gonna get the hell beat out of him for sure. Does anybody know when it comes out? i thought the previews said it was sometime this year in july or august.......

we went to the store about 4 hours ago and I got a spider-man 2 book. I just got finished reading it a few minutes ago and it was good. I got the book called "The Daily Bugle Stories." the book only gave info on the news going on in new york city so there were only a few spoilers.
(Spoilers do not read if you dont want to be spoiled)
I read about how doc ock lost control of his tentacles while giving a speech and hit an electric box and the tentacle harness was scorched onto doc ock's spine and also how much harry osborn is turning into an assborn (he told doc ock to capture peter parker or mary jane watson if he wanted spider-man to come). This book only took 40 minutes to read but I hope the movie is alot longer to watch.

question is, venom is a hero now, so how would that play out, and secondly who would play venom in the third film? i mean honestly who captures that badas feel venom brings? either way im most assuredly positive that spiderman 2 will own when it comes out, and i mean own!!!

I see you haven't been reading comics for a while...heh heh. Venom has not been a hero for a long time now...

...in fact, Eddie Brock now has cancer and is a living wreck. The symbiote abandoned him, and is now running amok feeding on people - apparently, it has developed a need for adrenaline, it now feeds off it. It was only using Brock - all those years. The new comic series sucks. I wish Brock and the Symbiote would get back together...

Anyway, there's not a man alive who could play a decent Eddie Brock - none that come to mind immediately, at least. Besides, I think Venom needs his own movie...

Back on topic with the film - it looks good, but I'm very used to seeing Ock speak with an accent. He just sounds 'American' here, and that bugs me. Oh well...maybe I'll wind up liking it more than the original, like I did with DeVito's Penguin.

Yeah dude. They already finished filming it. It WAS coming out on August 13, but unfortunately, they moved the release date to December.

Spidey 2 comes out on June 30th.
