some (SPOILERS)

Damn, i loved that game so much and i went all the way to the part where you fight against darth malak where he tells you that you are actually darth revan. I could not beat him, i tried everything but.....could it have been that i was leaning toward the dark side that i lost??

well it is how you prepare your character.

Dueling or two weapons fighting feats are very useful and master toughness is useful also.

master toughness will increase your health greatly.

two weapons fighting would increase the effective of the two lightsabers and other weapons.

gear I am partial to the Geodardarn(msp) gloves
CNS strenght echaners and Geodardarn(msp) mesh armor.

The Geodardarn visor is good.

to get those item, you must complete the Geodardarn(msp) Sidequest.

to start it you must Kill Calo Nord then a guy will walk up to you to give a datapad that he said that you drop. It is a invition to meet Hulas at Manaan and to come alone. he will ask you to kill some people to join his clan. Two of the people are on Manaan and you will get a poison sword and strenght gloves. the visor you will get if you kill a shapeshifter at the Wookies Homeworld. a blaster if you kill a slaver on dantooine. Those is a hunter on Tatooine and you will a stealth unit if you gain a victory over him. Well Hulas will betray you and challege you to a dual but he will bring friends for the fight. Well if you go alone you will fight him. Depends how well prepare you are you can fight them all alone.

Conditioning feat + Toughness Feat + Two weapon fighting or dueling feats + melee weapons or lightsaber feats will help you greatly for the feat part of the your character into a good fighter.

The strenght gloves that hulas gives you and the CNS Strenght from the Dantoonie store will increase your strenght by several points and the Poison sword that he gives you is very useful because it will give critial strikes and poison the enemies moreso than not. If it doesnt do critial strike or poison it will do good damage to your enemies. If you use it with a fully upgraded Prototype VibroSword that is a deadly sword combo.

Well with beginning stats: str14
Dext14
Con14
Int14
Wis10
Cha10

When you level up some times it will ask you to add a attribute point and in my last game with the Attr stats I put up there.

Str16
Det14
Con14
Int18
Wis10
Cha10

Those are in my opinion good attributes status without any pro attributes gear like CNS Strenght Enchancer and the Cardio Power implant.

Those attribute stats are good for the Scout/Jedi Guardian.

Scout can get really good freebie Feats like Implant 1 2 3 which Cardio Power is a Lvl 3 Implant but that is a implant to have because it will increase your constution by +4 attribute points. That is very good to have.

Scouts are a more of a balance beginning class to start out with because it has good feat gains and good skills gains. Implants 1 2 3 and Uncanny dodge 1 2 are his freebie feats

Soliders has the best feat gains and they are the best fighters. Heavy armor feat and Heavy weapons are his freebies.

Scondrels has the best skills gains with good freebie feat gains are unique to them also they can be sneakier than the Solider or the Scouts comes to fighting.
Sneak Attacks and Scondrel lucks will not stop adding to your sneak fighter.

Well I will add my imput for the jedi and droid class later on.

another question: what does it matter if you are leaning toward the dark side or light side? does it affect the gameplay??

YES. The game does progress slightly differently if you go lightside or darkside. You should replay it and try to go the opposite of what you've done already.

Do the sidequests, they rule.

It does affect the gameplay, but it shouldn't have any effect on your overall ability to kill Malak. But there are points in the game where being dark can deprive you of party members - I actually killed that evil Jedi chick rather than talk her around, so I never got to use her. Plus I killed all my light side companions towards the end. It also seems like a pretty major decision as to what you do at the end of the Wookiee world.

I finished the game on the dark side and saw the dark ending, and I imagine the light ending would be pretty dang different. I didn't have much trouble with Malak, but then again I was a Soldier-Guardian and I pumped most of my stat points into combat things. Hell-sick-wicked game.

I had already made a new game of KOTOR and whenever i got to the sandral grounds i was all light side (my body was glowing and light was surrounding me). I got all of the characters like canderace, bastila, jolee, the two robots, and catgirl(cant remember her name). anyway, what kind of gameparts will it affect if i play through the entire game with 100% lightside points? also, is it possible to kill bastila whenever you rescue her on taris?

A) Don't bump your own threads. Read the Community FAQ!

B) There already was a KOTOR thread before this, one day before this in fact and it's still on the first page. No need to make a second one.
