UGH very bad idea. I love Star Wars, everything about it. I think a show would not be too special tho, plus I'd want the original cast which obviously won't happen.

They should have just made a movie after that one book, I apologize I can't recall the name (They made the kick ass N64 game with the same name) but it takes place between Ep. 4 and 5, and the book was really well done and interesting.

I am a huge Star Wars fan. Unlike so many other people , I like the new movies. When it comes to a TV series, I would give it a try as long as if they can find someone that looks like Luke Skywalker and the other Star Wars cast. I would love the TV series take on Star Wars: Jedi Outcast storyline from Luke's point of view. In the end I give it a try.

Btw Star Wars 3 less than a year away :.)

I agree with Blade-Tsung...I like Star Wars but a TV series would just look stupid, I would want the original cast too.

The name of the book/kick ass n64 game I was referring to above was Shadow of the Empire (i think)...

Oh, me too. I like the new movies a lot, tho they can't touch the older stuff, but I don't care who thinks they are bad, I still love em. And I got my autographed Hans Solo/Harrison Ford picture proudly on display in my house.

All I'm sayin is, this show could go either way. I mean, lets say it ends up on SciFi. SciFi has a loyal fanbase, but that's not gonna work too well IMO.

They would need a channel like TBS or FX to pick this up and run with it, heavy promotions and such.

I guess we'll have to wait and see what network they go with...

ps - Original Star Wars Ep. 4,5,&6 are coming to DVD!!!

I want a movie dedicated solely to Darth Maul or Boba Fett. But if they do make a TV series I think they should base it on the "Young Jedi Knights" books by Kevin J Andersson and Rebecca Moesta.

^Yeo B-T, it was Shadows of the Empire, with Dash Rendar. I think. Anyway, I love SW, so I am skeptical about this. I think, if they just made completely new characters and stories, and placed it in the SW universe, it would have a shot. But this Luke thing. I dunno. Maybe. If it happens, I'll remain optimistic.

I would like a Starwars Tv series and could really expand the Starwars universe even further. But they need to have good actors and actors that look like the originals,otherwise I welcome it.

That sounds like a REALLY bad idea. Star Wars just wouldn't be as cool every time they came out a movie... And just think of how crappy the SFX would be... it's a TV SHOW were talking about here! It would be like star treck! UGH!

Oh, I think they already have made a cartoon series, I think they did because I saw a picture of a cartoon-looking anakin skywalker on a ravioli can and right beside it there were the words "Toonami". I haven't seen it on there before though. maybe it was just an advertisement that they were planning on making. I dunno...

Any further series will ruin the theme of Star Wars.

dont get me wrong i love star wars but a t.v series would suck series into movies dont work aka starsky and hutch (never seen it but heard it was shit) so why should movies into series work?

star wars as a series has as match chance as kill bill as a series although i have heard rumors of a kill bill vol.3
