Strange Dreams
Whoever mentioned tornadoes, I dream about that too. But that's because I sleep with the fan on me and I cannot tell you how creepy that is.
Sometimes I have really horrible nightmares with one of my parents getting shot or killed. That's really horrible and no, there was no fighting with them that night.
Other times I know I'm dreaming about something but cannot recall whatsoever.
Had a sex dream twice...
There's a lot of strange ones, but I never believe they have a message behind them. Most people do think they have something significant behind them... But I really don't find any meaning in dreams. They're just something that goes on in your mind while you're sleeping... Like TV for your eyes for eight hours.

I don't know why but I've had these strange dreams. Fish: Thoughts from the unconscious mind; may also deal with conception (possibly a woman you know).
Swimming: Emotional thoughts from the unconscious mind; may also mean you subconsciously seek emotional support. Swimming underwater may mean you are submerged in your emotions.
Smile: Signs that you are pleased with others; may also mean you are seeking something or someone that will make you happy. The menacing smile may indicate the unexpected.
I hope this helps you.

same thing used to happen to me too. (i havent been able to recall my dreams since the 7th grade and im 16) For instance, when i was in 4th grade i had a dream where i was in a classroom with a teacher i didnt know. There were two things that stuck with me from that dream, what she looked like and her name, ms. Corbosero. Next year, my teacher was the exact same person from my dreams, even the same name.
I know that your not alone with these kinds of dreams because even my friends had dreams like ours.

Less than frequently, I have dreams of me doing regular things in my everyday life. I forget about those dreams, till several days later (or weeks), the same things that I saw before me in one of my dreams, happens before my eyes in reality.
Like for instance, the first time I recall this happening:
In one part in a particular dream of mine, I was standing on a sidewalk outside a basketball court by a school, wearing my Heely shoes, kneeling down, tying my laces.
And then several days later, that exact same thing happens, the moment it occurs, I remember the dream.
I'm like a psychic or something, I can see the future. But I don't know WHAT part of my dreams are going to actually happen in reality or WHEN, however. So I'm like a psychic who cannot control his powers or something like that.
Really weird.

Similar case here as well. I'm constantly having experiences like that where it's like my dreams are an indication of things to come. Sometimes I'll wake up and forget the dream, only for it to happen in real life and be hit with a feeling of familiarity and Deja Vu. If the dream is vivid, I remember it. But in most cases I wake up knowing it's due to come, as odd as that sounds.
A perfect example being a dream I had last night. Electric Picnic is a 3 day outdoor music festival that comes along every September here in Ireland, up in County Laois. I've gone every year since I was 19 and I love it, but I've always gone with my best friend. I ended up dreaming last night that I ended up having to go to the festival late one night on my own, as I'd bought a ticket and my camping gear but had nobody to go with. Rather than waste the money I left, but for some reason I arrived at night time only to find there was no room left for me to put up a tent, and I could also find none of my friends. In the dream my sister dropped me off at the festival and my parents weren't answering their phone, I had no way of getting home as my sister hadn't got her phone on her. I ended up bumping into my best friend, who had never told me he'd gone down from Dublin without me. We argued and on the first night the realisation sunk in that I'd nowhere to sleep and no way of getting home.
I woke up this morning with this overwhelming feeling that I should avoid buying my ticket as it's 4 weeks until the festival and my friend STILL hasn't bought his own ticket. Something just screamed to me this morning that heading with him this year would cause nothing but trouble, and needless to say I'm precautious. If that dream is anything like half of the other stuff that's come to realisation, I'll be stuck in a part of the countryside with nowhere to sleep, no company and no viable way of getting home. lol

D***! That's quite a dileema you have there, if what happened in your dream will happen in reality, then I would suggest you don't go. I'm not demanding you don't go or anything, I just don't want you in that situation.
And about your prophetic dreams, I wish I could have cool stuff like that happen, the knowing it's coming part, I always forget my dreams then remember it after seeing my dream happen in front of me, it doesn't happen all the time though, my prophetic dreams are happening rarely, as of late.
Only several days ago, I was taking out inFAMOUS 2 from my PS3, looking at the box art (for about 5 seconds), then putting the disc back in the case. Just as I did in a dream I had a month before, which was about a week before I acquired inFAMOUS 2.
Weird thing about this one though, is that I was struck by the realization I foresaw this moment as my disc was being ejected. Even as I knew I foresaw this moment, I still did what I did in the dream. And yet, there was a part of me that wanted me to do something I haven't done in my dream. I just couldn't do it, I couldn't deviate from the actions I foresaw myself doing. It wasn't until I put my disc back in its case I felt free from the feeling of Deja Vu, and did a slow 360 spin, which was what I wanted to do while I still had the Deja Vu feeling.
What this makes me think of, is that when I unknowingly foresee something in a dream, it is destined to happen, I can't deviate away from what I'm supposed to do. Like, I lose my free will when what happens in my dream occurs, I am a slave to fate, so to speak.
(Well look at that, a 14 year-old video gamer making paragraphs about prophetic dreams. You don't see many video gaming kids my age do that nowadays. *Sigh*)

I've often wondered about that too, what would happen if we did deviate from the things that we forsee. It's one of those things you just need to experience I guess, anybody who's never had that feeling would just think we sounded nuts. From my experience though, if it's meant to happen it's genuinely meant to happen. I've often tried to influence things prior to them actually happening in hopes of a different outcome but I can't recall there ever being a scenario that didn't ultimately occur.
They might only be minor predictions, like a certain customer will come into work with a certain distinctive look, or I'll have something busy to do with the radio/iPod on and be in the exact same place and time as predicted with the same song that was playing in the background. The weird thing is it's sometimes done unknowingly, despite having knowledge of my dreams it's like they aren't recalled by my mind until they occur. lol

I find it funny I heard recently someone I know make a comment on how it's a pet peeve of his when people tell him long winded blabberings on their recent dreams that make no sense to either person listening ...then it made me think of this thread!
George Carlin sums it up nicely
So anyways,
I had another weird dream today where I basically became Death. This probably happened because every electronic I touched yesterday was having problems. It started by something happening to the regular Death, I'm not exactly sure what though. Kind of like that Tim Allen movie replacing Santa Claus... only less Tim Allen. I actually don't remember doing anything special but flying around a little bit and randomly appearing at different places.
wtf

I had a dream where I was in a blue castle and I was wandering around for a little while til I found myself outside in a huge forest on a mountain and there was a zip line leading to god knows where and I went down on it and in the middle of going mach 5 down this line I turned to see Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, and some other black guy right behind me and we ended up in Silverwood.

I used to have weird nightmares of dogs as a kid. I was in this red tunnel, when an angry dog starts to run towards me. Scared the living hell out of me.
I used to be afraid of dogs as a kid, yeah. Then my stepfather brought in his Deutscher Schäferhund, and I had to live with it. My fear towards disappeared in a few days, thanks to Milo. :) RIP Milo :(

Prophetic dreams are creepy as fuck. Sometimes I try to control my dreams in the hope that it comes to fruition. Sadly it never does. (sad because I'm usually trying to woo someone and make them my love *sad face*)
As far as STRANGE dreams go, I've had plenty where me and my friends were like 1950's gangsters and eventually our parents turned on us (what!?) and toss me of the side of a cliff! (seriously.....what?)
