DON'T do that! That's what I did oddly enough 3 days before my first flight to the United Kingdom!
It would only add to your nervousness and worry for no reason to see that film.
It'll be ok.
Security for flights now are very high, and you will be fine.
The odds of having a fatal accident in a plane as compared to one in a land based transport of any sort are quite low.
I've made several flight before and after September 11th to the UK from Canada, and the flights are approximately 7 hours and 45 minutes long each way.
If it's your first time flying, the thing that might make you nervous most will be turbulence, if you encounter any of it at all.
Other than that, flying is a much smoother experience than I would have thought it would be.
My advice is :
Don't worry about it.

It was a good movie, actually. And one of the few movies to ever disturb me/gross me out too, due to the realism. It was called "Alive".
(Don't watch that one either. lol)

The book was better. You should read the book "Alive".

Dude, don't be nervous. I just got back from my first flight in 7 years, and I was nervous, but once you are in the air for 10 minutes, you'll feel fine. So don't be nervous.
