Tekken Tag Tournament 2 (In Stores in Japan Summer 2011) **Contains Spoilers!!!**

I know, he's super hot, right?

Anyhoo, along Mortal Kombat (2011) and Marvel vs Capcom 3 comes the next major fighting game of 2011, Tekken Tag Tournament 2. The game is the second tag team-based installment of the Tekken franchise, complete with nearly the entire Tekken 6 roster, along with the awesome return of Jinpachi Mishima.



A new character, Jaycee, will be making her Tekken debut in this game.



An exact date has yet to be released, but be sure to catch on Game Stop shelves in Japan sometime this summer. As for the rest of us... we wait...


I don't know about you, but I can't wait!

I'm not really dedicated to Tag, but this is shaping up to look really cool.
Can't go wrong with some good Tekken, imho.

JayCee is Julia Chang, imho. That's kinda cool. Would've been nice if characters without existing teammates could've been given new characters that suit them.

Could've done without Jinpachi, but that art makes it look like he might at least be scaled back. Bring back Unknown for some fun and sub-plot resolution, says I.

Loving the olde skool Heihatchi.

Im just wondering if we are going to get Kunimitsu, Jun and Michelle chang in full on updated Tekken 6 style? And if they are going to age them a la Kazuya, Heihatchi, Lee etc.

I suck so bad at Tekken. I'm excited as a fan of the genre, but I'm not going to give this even a rental. With SSF4, BlazBlue, and soon MvsC3 and MK2011, I don't have room for another fighting game in my life.

I doubt I'll spend much time with Tekken X SF as well, but I will definitely being hitting up Third Strike.

Visually, no doubt.

It is amazing to behold, like all his costumes. Nevertheless, you can't fight with him without feeling the need to bare him nude.

Nah, I don't think Julia will exclusively be Jaycee.

I think they're going to just separate the two, like Jin and Devil Jin.

It would be nice to have Michelle return, though. I wish Jun could, too.

Anyhoo, according Wikkipedia (which gets its sources from just about anywhere, but many of them are accurate) and Twitter (which leads to a crap load of rumors), there are characters that creator Katsuhiro Harada is considering to return in this game. Those characters are:

- Angel
- Devil
- Jun Kazama
- Kunimitsu
- Ogre / True Ogre

I'm really banking on Ogre, though I doubt he'd make it. Hopefully Jun does.
