- That ‘Terminator Genisys’ Trailer Is Almost All Homages to ‘Terminator’ and ‘Terminator 2′ [SPOILERS]

Terminator Genisys, just by existing as a Terminator movie made in the 21st century, runs a very real risk of ending up in that same pile. But if you’ve seen the trailer for Terminator Genisys that dropped last week, you may have noticed something. Terminator Genisys is trying very hard not to be associated with the crummier films in the Terminator oeuvre, Terminator Salvation and Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines.

Instead, it’s trying oh so very hard to make you think of the original two; the two Terminator films that are undeniable sci-fi classics.

Good breakdown for newbies!

I just can't figure out if this makes me less interest, or more...

- ‘Terminator Genisys’ Trailer: Super Action Ahead Of Super Bowl

Paramount Pictures and Skydance are planning a big splash with a Super Bowl ad for its “reset” of the Terminator franchise. Here’s the trailer that just dropped for Terminator Genisys starring Arnold Schwarzenegger (young and older), Emilia Clarke and Jai Courtney as new versions of the Machine-Sarah Connor-Kyle Reese trio, as well as Jason Clarke, and J.K. Simmons. Alan Taylor directed. Check it out and let’s see how they cut this up Sunday for the 30-second spot.

Now, however, Latino Review contends the mystery has been solved, with the help of a recent test screening. According to the website’s source, Smith portrays ... “the embodiment of Skynet,” similar to Helena Bonham Carter’s role in 2009’s “Terminator Salvation.”
Questioning Ahnold aging as a Terminator, maybe he plays a prototype revived corpse, like the dude in the last film?

What are you thought's on the newest trailer about John Connor being the main bad guy and a new terminator hybrid ? I thought it was a good surprise. I was always hoping for something like this so I got what I wanted and more. I am sure Mick will put up the official second trailer on here soon.wink

- New Terminator Genisys Poster Revealed



The official plot summary for Terminator Genisys reads: "When John Connor (Clarke), leader of the human resistance against Skynet, sends Kyle Reese (Courtney) back to 1984 to protect his mother, Sarah (Clarke), from a Terminator assassin, an unexpected turn of events creates an altered timeline. Instead of a scared waitress, Sarah is a skilled fighter and has a Terminator guardian (Schwarzenegger) by her side. Faced with unlikely allies and dangerous new enemies, Reese sets out on an unexpected new mission: reset the future."

- First two Terminator Genisys clips take us back to 1984 [SPOILERS]

Terminator: Genisys, the fifth instalment of the time-traveling sci-fi series, arrives in theaters in a little over a month and Paramount has dropped the first pair of clips honing in on what makes this particular sequel unique. Described as a ‘reset’ of the thirty year-old franchise, Genisys follows Kyle Reese (Jai Courtney) as his travels back in time to rescue Sarah Connor (Emilia Clarke), the mother of future resistance leader John.

Spoilers: (Highlight to reveal)
If somehow you’d managed to miss all of the previous trailers, posters and teasers then both clips reveal the biggest twist: this is a brand new 1984. In this alternate timeline, Sarah is the one who rescues Reese, there’s an older T-800 who raised her from an orphan, and the entire canon has been spun on its head.

The second clip in particular shows the crumpled endoskeleton of a defeated T-800 tossed in the back of Sarah’s truck, and Reese’s response proves we’re not the only ones utterly flabbergasted by the timeline shift...


Directed by Alan Taylor, Terminator: Genisys opens on July 1 in the US and July 2 in the UK.
Why wouldn't the living flesh age?
Just because it's 3d printed on or some shit. People probably expected it to last, like, a week or just long enough to infiltrate a group of Humans.

- Go Behind the Scenes of ‘Terminator Genisys’ With 7 Minutes of Footage [YouTube]

Paramount Pictures has released more than seven minutes of B-roll footage from “Terminator Genisys,” offering a peek behind the scenes of the franchise reboot.

There are a few action sequences, as well as plenty of shots of the cast and crew hanging out — and cutting up — between takes, but the crowd-pleaser will likely be the look at how they pulled off the bus flip.

The closer it gets, the great the ambivalence. I just don't know!

Saw the movie the day it came out in Real D 3D. By far better then 3 and much better then that shit Salvation. It wasn't as good as 1st 2 films but a lot better then 3 and 4.

Out of all the movies I've seen in theaters this year its my 2nd favorite in terms of use of 3D and overall good film.

Mad Max Fury Road
Terminator Genesis
Avengers Age Of Ultron
Jurassic World

Not sure how it will stack up to Antman when I go see that in terms of 3D.

Even got free poster which is hanging up on my door.
