Sad to hear. It'd be nice if more of the respected folk stuck around. Good to see you back, as fleeting as it may be.

Thanks, Detox. I'm just in town on business, so to speak. This place needs a big makeover. Seems like there's still enough veterans around to get together and do something about it, but I don't think anyone has the intention of doing that.

Yesterday I was searching around online for remnants of the old days, and I discovered so much of it has been lost in time. So much creative content made by this community has perished. It's quite sad, in fact.

It is indeed. It's hard to put a finger on the cause I'd say. I've seen some point the finger at the forum itself, the usual complaints about management or the overall layout of the place. At the end of the day, it's more likely that the concept of an online forum, amongst the rise of more popular forms of social media, is just a bit antiquated. The people that left here aren't turning up on any other forum. They're just keeping in touch/sharing their creative processes with friends on Facebook, Twitter, etc.

I guess, in the mean time, this place will fluctuate up and down between releases. Hopefully it hits it's groove again. This fandom, despite it's many(MANY) shortcomings are a passionate lot, and at the end of the day, that's all this place truly needs.

Nice to know you're still alive, old friend. Let us linger this graveyard together, in loving remembrance of the days of old.
