The sudden love was simply because I had just seen it for the first time. I have always heard of the title but never anything of the plot. just decided to turn it on on Netflix. Very impressed.

There are a few hidden gems on Netflix amongst the shitstorm of bad horror/comedy movies. The ninth gate is one of them. I recently watched What Dreams May Come. Along with World's Best Dad, it gave me a new respect for Robin Williams.
