Yeah, it's hard to chose about the two main forms of the show (durning high school and after)...durning high school they all were a little fresher, but the 2nd half of the show explored Buffy's resurection and had lots more Spike ()...I was always a little sore about the whole Marc Blucas, another poor actor imo.

I love this:

Hey love those comics grin

Yeah it really looked like they didn’t even notice. Only Xander noticed but didn’t care enough for the love of his life. It’s obvious who is your favourite though grin

Fun facts: There's at least 3 ways MK connects to Buffy!

In MKA the actor that plays Kahn has two roles on Buffy. He is The Master's henchmen Luke in the first ep and is the Judge in Surprise and Innocence. Also, the MKA actress that plays Sindel was the mantis lady Xander had a crush on in Teacher's Pet.

There's a monster named Moloch in the ep I Robot, You Jane.

In the ep A New Man you can see Anya reading a comic book. When she turns it around you can clearly see it has an ad for MK1 on the back.

I’ve noticed two of those things too I’m gonna look for the MK1 ad now.

Actually I’ve never watched the show on TV. When I first watched it; it was recommended to me by a friend and I thought Okay I give it a try. I was watching the very beginning of the first episode where Darla and that guy break in on school and I was like duhhhh that guy is a vampire and is gonna bite that girl run girl. Then it turns out to be that girl (later known as Darla) was a vampire and I was shocked from that minute on I already loved that show. I’ve watched the first three seasons in two weeks time pretty sick but I’ve had a great time wink

My favourite episode? Well there are a lot that I like but one I can think of right at this moment is “Fool for Love” about Spike’s past I also loved the ending of season 5 not because I liked it but I was shocked to the bone I logged directly on to the internet to find out if there was a season 6

Angel is a great show too. I like Buffy more but I really liked Angel season 3. Especially the episode where Darla dies I haven’t seen series 4 and 5 yet but I’ve just found out that season 4 is available on DVD since August **runs to the store**

What do all of you think of those movie rumours... should they do it?

EDIT. Damn it... Angel season 4 has got delayed until September 29th sad

I LOVE Buffy so much!
It was easily the best thing on TV, and I'm missing it alot.

I thought it was better to end on a high note though...but season 7 wasn't the best. It was good that Faith returned, and all that, but still not as good as season 3.

My favourites were Anya, Willow and Xander, and like wise, i was gutted that they killed Anya off in such a stupid way...so emotionless reactions from all the other characters. She was the funniest and sweetest character in the show, and if they make movies, then Willow had bloody well better resurrect her!

The Xbox games were good, they could be better though...playing as Anya would have helped!

Angel was cool too, but just not in the same league. What were they thinking doing what they did to Fred and Wes?

Off to watch some old Buffy episodes now...

I love Fool for Love, Spike & Dru, f***in' with the blood of a dead slayer...Dru is another great character. I like in Season 7 where spike says to the 1st pretending to be dru, "Your not her, you're not crazy enough" or something to that effect

1) How do you feel about the show being ended?
I was really disappointed about the end. I always hoped angel and buffy got together in the end, they were ment to be. But it was time, season 7 wasn't that great.
2) What did you think of the ending?
It felt empty, like someone said, there was something missing. In my point of view that missing thing was angel
3) What’s your favourite episode?
My favorite episodes are defenitely ''Becoming 1 + 2''
4) What characters do you like or hate?
I liked buffy and angel(wink) xander, willow, giles, Oz and anya. The original cast(accept anya, but xander and she were a perfect match). I hate riley and tara. Seeing buffy with another man?No! Willow being gay?No! And then there are dawn and cordy. Well, sometimes I hated them, sometimes I loved them
5) How did you feel when Angel got cancelled?
I never really watched angel, I didn't like the first episodes. No I watch once in a while and I do want to have all the episodes some day.
6) What show do you like better Buffy or Angel?
Buffy
7) Did you play the Buffy Games? No, dont know why

Totally agree about the ending. But Angel did made a short appearance in the last episode and I’ve watched the extras on the DVD. On of the extras we see Joss Whedon talking about Angel’s appearance and he says that they left the relationship between Buffy and Angel open (you can see that in the show) so that there always is a possibility for them getting together in the future.

That’s why I hope there will be a Buffy / Angel movie so they can make a final ending out of it. I also think that originally Angel was supposed to sacrifice himself in the ending and not Spike. But because the Angel show went on they gave Spike a soul. But that’s just what I think

Dru is a great charater too... I still dont know what happened to her in the end but I guess it will come in one of the last two seasons of Angel. And so is Darla... She is great too.

I haven't watched buffy till my cousin spike 81 came up with it. I have seen season 1 and we are now watching season 2. That's why I can't give an answer to the questions of this topic yet.

One thing is for sure: THE SEASONS OF BUFFY ARE GREAT.

I AGREE!!!!!!! It was the worst thing ever!!! Anya was an amazing character in the series. One of the best IMO. I loved her sarcasm and her deep story.

I was so fucking sad and shcoked when I saw her die. AND I hate everyone else for not even caring. sad sad sad

BEST THING:

Im a huge fan, i love the series, but the best thing was probably:

EVIL WILLOW!!! She was so sexy in black, a true killer. Amazing.

FAVE CHARACTER:

Buffy, Willow, Anya.

Oh my god. I loved Buffy soo much. I was really sad when it ended.
My favorite episodes of all time were the season 5 finale where she kicked glory's ass and has to die to save the world, and season 7 finale. I thought She was gonna die for good when she was stabbed. I hated when Anya died. The best part on that episode was buffy getting up and in slow motion with that music in the background using her syth to dust like 4 ubervamps in a row.

To be honest with everyone here... when I first saw Buffy, I thought it was the LAMEST show ever! The cheezey ass dusting, the lame ass CGI moments, and of course, the HORRIBLE werewolf!!!

Then I came in this situation that early in the morning, there was nothing else to watch on FX but Buffy the vampire slayer!... so I just watched it, and slowly the show began to amaze me with all the written GOLD it had to offer. Then I saw what the werewolf was SUPPOSED to look like at the beginning of the whole werewolf problem. Anyone know why they changed it? because while the original costume wasn't great, it was a hell of a lot better then the flat faced monkey they gave us later.

In contrast to most. My favorite season has to be season 7. It totally abandoned the highschool scooby gang shit and went straight towards the REAL problems. They had a few individual episodes but most of them were a small part of something big which is cool because we got plenty of those in the early seasons.

And in more contrast, I REALLY liked the last episode. That twist they gave us was fabulous and was half the reason everyone didn't have time to morn over Anya. To tell the truth... I kinda liked when Anya was killed, she was really kinda pointless. Xander is a mortal, and Don is Buffy's motivation... so we don't really need any more of those.

Oh yeah... Favorite characters besides buffy are Spike and Faith. Spike is just cool... if anyones death should be shocking it should have been his. He was WAY more interesting then Anya.

Heres a new question for ya. If any one of the characters could get a spin off, who would you choose?

FAITH! how cool would that be? "Faith the vampire slayer!"

Most definitely, this would be my choice to. Sadly *grumbles* she has already stated she won't do it. Besides she has that other show, Tru Calling. I'll watch her in anything cause I love her so much...but I am secretly hoping that show flops and then she reconsiders the Faith Spin off, which incidently WAS offered to her.

What do you think BAV? Think that, even though she says no now, there just might be a Faith show? The concept was kinda cool, as I heard it. They weren't gonna keep her in one central location, rather they were gonna have her constantly on the move. Which kinda makes sense because technically she'd still be on the run from the cops right? *tsk tsk* I guess saving the world from total damnation doesn't make those pesky legal problems go away. confused Go figure!

Oh yeah Evil Willow was amazing. I do think it was kind off weak of the creators to let her turn back to normal at the end of the season. But it was nice for Xander to have that part of turning Willow back though.

The Spin off of Angel that already is ended was the best choice IMO. But if any of the other characters would get a spin off my vote goes to Faith. She is in the best position for a most interesting further storyline. Actually at first I thought that something like that was going to be the end of the show Buffy would quit being a slayer and Faith would take her place.

I always thought I would be fun to see a spin off with Spike too even if it is just one season. Or what do you think of a Spike spin off in the past? Like a 100 years before Buffy is slayer or maybe from the beginning of his vampire life.

That would ROCK. they could set each season in a different decade... the first few before buffy, the last few after angel.

I would especially like to see one in the 70's (like when he was on that train in new york fighting the second slayer he killed) Spike would be a FABULOUS lead character. Hell why not just do something completely different and have a Faith AND Spike show in one?! It's much less risky and how many fans would THAT please?!

I hear that Tru Calling (which is a pretty cool show) is the reason that she isn't doing a faith show... But should that ever fail, I don't see why she wouldn't be like- "hey! Joss!... uhhh... still want me for that faith show?"

I dunno... she's hot though... Just noticed that.

You never know what's gonna happen. I'm just keeping my hopes up for a Movie. The thing with Buffy/Angel, even the best characters aren't enough. Both shows are rich with different characters to keep you interested. I personally liked that Anya took some of the spot light from Xander because he wasn't developing as a character too much. Much as I love Spike, a show about him would need other characters like Faith or Gunn or Illeria(they go together well) or whoever. So it's hard to know what's gonna happen.

A show about Faith. Would Faith's show follow the Angel theme of searching for redemption? There would have to be underlying goals to keep watching it (that and the fact that Elisa is hot smile)

I want to see a TV movie as suggested by some. It leaves off right where Angel ended. D.B. doesn't seem interested so maybe Angel died, or maybe he was sucked into a porthole. But you see Gunn, Spike, and Illeria bending over, panting, bleeding, and resting. There are lots of bodies around them. Another army starts approaching. They are kind of far away so our heros have time to get ready to fight. Enter smart chatter here. Anyway fighting proceeds. It's getting overwhelming, there's too many. Then the tables even when about 30 slayers led by Buffy & Faith join the fight. The battle is still difficult. Willow goes all powerful and eventually wipes many of them out. That's when the new plot starts...

Love your idea about the movie and I really hope there will be a movie. But I don’t think they should do a movie without either Sarah Michelle Gellar of David Boreanaz. But it doesn’t seem that David is completely off the table though. I don't know about Gellar. This is what I found in an article from comingsoon.net published earlier last month

From the article:

Boreanaz on Angel Movie & New Project
Source: TV Guide
Wednesday, August 18, 2004

TV Guide chatted with actor David Boreanaz who says the rumors he's not up for an Angel movie are nonsense. He's willing to go another round, but not on TV.

"It would have to be a theatrical release," he says. "I'm not into the movie-of-the-week [idea]."

WB execs said they were interested in doing TV films. "I know they wanted to do, like, six films," Boreanaz added, "It's not that I'm against it; it just needs to be a bigger challenge. When you do something for five seasons, you want to continue to challenge yourself... go to another level with it rather than just doing the same thing you've been doing."

Here is a link

It is also know that Joss Whedon is interested in doing a movie This is from an earlier article:

Also, Whedon tells us that he is interested in doing a "Buffy/Angel" film as well, but he knows that Sarah Michelle Gellar and David Boreanaz wouldn't want to participate in the feature. He adds that the "Buffy" animated series is still in the planning stages.

Here is a link

I don’t know if there is any confirmed info on a possible movie or one of the actors after these articles. If there is then I’m sorry for bringing up these articles

Yeah, if he will do it that would be cool. You can easily mod my idea with him in it. Add Angel's sarcastic remarks that Spike survived when they're competing for Buffy.
