I'm with you, having watched Ho-Oh, Tropius, and Misdreavus all go down right at the end. Not worse than Sealeo vs. Sunkern, not by a long shot... we could have done a lot worse than these two though, I'm not all that disappointed with this final.

I agree with you on Tropius and Misdreavus. Except for Ho-Oh... He has to be my least favorite Legandary Pokemon of all. To me is just a flying Turkey with a horrible name, and I get the phoenix-based-bird-like pokemon.. But it was poorly executed in MY personal opinion.

Anyway...

My vote goes to Roserade

By no means is Ho-Oh my favorite legendary. I'd put it below Lugia, below all the Gen 1 legendaries, below Latias/Latios, and a couple others. This group was pretty weak though, in my mind. Not very many Pokemon that I liked were drawn into this group.

The phoenix concept arguably was already done with Moltres, but to me, Ho-Oh looks cool (except the mohawk thing it has going on), is leaps and bounds ahead of most legendaries gameplay-wise, and has some uniqueness to it. That's why I like Ho-Oh, but to each their own.
