With Absol the case is that it isn't good but with many others m0s is right. There have been several pokemon that have been randomly turned on from the insane amount of immune votes they receive. I am surprised most of the pokemon hipsters here didn't gangbang Blastoise with boots because remember folks... If it is a starter, Legendary, or Gen 1.. It just automatically isn't a good pokemon. Regardless of what it actually is.
I just think Absol has a really cool concept and design... certainly more effort put into it than most everything post-Gen 2, and, you know, it IS quite popular.
Oh they tried at the end with Blastoise, did they ever try. lol
I'm not even mad about Absol or any other that this happens to, I just think it's funny that it's a reason for booting something. And with Charizard it was so blatantly obvious that
I called that it would happen. But that's just a product of the community we have. I'm 99.9% sure that if I did this on a Pokemon fansite and this exact group were up, Charizard would run away with it. But hey, this group of folks here likes to put over Krokorok and Wingull. That's fine. More power to you, because surprises in this sort of thing are good.
