Not even close.

It's because that thread has little to no actual content. Of all those posts, i could probably count less than 20 percent of them as worthwhile comment or discussion. The majority of the posts in that thread are "wow cool pic", "i love ermac", "his weapon sux" or "how dare you say ermac sux!". It's clear that some people have tried to breathe life into it, but it keeps getting beaten to death again with "i think his other fatality should be..." type posts, which i realise isn't your fault, but there's things you could have done to avoid that right from the start. Actually having a discussion thread instead of a look at these pics then say 5 lines about Ermac's coolness thread, or having a topic for starters. It was sort of a good idea, but most of the replies are bullshit, which is largely due to the fact that it had no initial purpose.
It was originally boarderlining spam imo.
