Whew! IGN's review is not getting a whole lot of love from the comment board (aka the 7th circle of Hell). Can't say I disagree. Terrible review. Several other sites are posting better reviews. Heck, GameInformer's review looks like it's half as long and the reviewer still seems like he graps the game more.

Ign fucking sucks. No offense but unless it's CoD or Gears of War they never got a decent review biased cunts.

IGN will give any game that isn't CoD a lower score than it deserves. Also, they didn't even MENTION the revamped practice mode. The game should get at LEAST a 9.

I just beat Tekken Tag 2 with my Armor King/Kuma team!

Just beat Arcade with Jinpachi, LOVE him this game. He will defiantly be a great equal vs Raven Players. Bryan I'm in love with. His New Forward 4,1 does 30% and is quite useful. Not only both mid. But Hit 1 seems almost High, and the reach off it is quite good to. Especially working well for Bounds Setups/Tags and Greatly substitutes ↗ +4 & ↘+3 Easily. Still going through but this Game deserves 9.0 to 9.5 easily. On to Bob, see whats new with Him.

Although I haven't picked up my copy yet, I don't get why people are raging over IGN giving the game a 7.5.... Tekken games always feel deserving of a 7.5-8.5 (in my opinon) so unless this game blows the other ones out of the water, that score sounds about right for a Tekken game.

And before you say it.... yes I do know IGN is fucking stupid with their rating system and they are pretty much never right about what they give a game.

Probably gave it that score due to the lack of a story mode. All you have in this game is arcade, online, practice, music, customization and little 1:30 - 3:00 minute movies at the end.

Hey, I ain't complaining, but I'm just thinking thats what IGN's deal is. They want a story mode and lasting appeal in every game it seems.

I'd say if you love Tekken, then this game has some damn good lasting appeal. Fuck ton of people to master (if you want to that is), more DLC on the way, paid for DLC such as movies and music (which is kinda dumb since we could just download a song from a past tekken game from our computer and slam it in the game but whatever).

And their little WTF thing going on if you happen to have people you know who have the game to make a team and have fun, kinda like some fighter named adooola9kazama (i think thats his name)

So Tekken 6 got an 8.8 rating from IGN

Tekken Tag 2 gets a 7.5 even though it is CLEARLY the better game.

The main reason TTT2 scored lower is because it's not "Noob friendly" enough, which is bullshit. Tekken 6 didn't even have a tutorial mode yet somehow is "Noob friendlier". Does that make ANY sense at all?

Another reason it was scored lower is apparently the "Presentation". The only complaint was the menu not being "helpful" enough. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to know how to navigate a menu. I really do think IGN ran out of things to bitch about so they decide to criticize the menu. (Which looks amazing by the way) But what really bothers me is, how they didn't even mention the stages as part of Presentation. Had they mentioned the stages I'm sure the game would've got a better review, but I'm not worried about it.

This game is insanely awesome no matter what some review says.
