i'm curious how my 5 favorite characters are in this game. since i don't own it i was wondering how my fav characters play and rank compared to the rest of the cast.
1.hwoarang
2.lili
3.zafina
4.yoshimitsu
5.raven
are these characters better in tekken 6 or are they better in ttt2. what new moves do they have. do they have new throws and air throws, how's there combos, how much damage do they do, what does there primary attire look like and etc.
so if someone can answer my questions that be nice.

Well, I cant compare them to Tekken 6 cause i didnt play, and I never play Hwoarang, but the other four are lots of fun. Lili and Zafina have quickly rised to be some of my favorites.
Their main outfits look good, I think Zafina's is an upgrade from her Tekken 6 look. Yoshimitsu is kinda meh though. Lacks detail.
All their 2nd outfits suck though, like all characters in the game. You have to unlock the nicer alternate.
Move-wise they dont have that many I dont think. I can compare Yoshimitsu to his SC version and he doesnt have that many.
Throws are pretty fun, because u get tag throws. Depending on the character they might have a special one (like Nina and Anna, etc).
Lili and Zafina are a lot of fun to use, raven is fun too, yoshi is a bit clunky I think but i havent used him much.

thanks Kamionero for answers to my questions. why don't you like Hwoarang. his moves are very interesting and he is 1 of the most complex characters you can use if you learn how to play as him. sure he is very spamable but he has many stances and a nice varity of throws.

Because people spam his kicks all the time

I like fighting against him. He feels very balanced.
Now for another one of your favs. Motherfucking Zafina. She's my Gary Oak. Just when I think I'm about to win, she pops up and starts going crazy with all of those low stances. I need to learn better mids and lows for my characters because she drives me insane.
Very fun to look at though. She's a solid character.
Barakett can tell you better though as she's one of his mains.

Kyzon the thing about zafina is to find a character that has a similar stance the hits lows and mid and that character is Lei Wulong. he has that lay down stance that works well against zafina players.
whenever i play tekken games or any fighting game i try to find a = fight. if that means similar playstyle or damage, moves, speed, or etc.
if i'm playing against a power character i try to pick a power character, if someone chooses a agile fighter i pick a nimble fighter, so on. it keeps matches interesting than seeing the same characters + it makes you better with all characters.
mkwhopper the thing about hwoarang he does have many punches so that is 1 of the main reasons why you don't see many players throwing punches with him. i can't really say about tag2 because i have not played it. even in tekken 6 he had only few punches. in tekken 3 when he was introduced he had barely any punches.

I don't play as Hwoarang but......
Using kicks when the character's movelist is mostly kicks is not spamming them. Now if they are using the same two or three kicks one after the other than sure you can call it spamming. He is very beatable. But ok.

I think we can all agree that spammers are jerks. Especially ones that do at least 5 throws in one round.
I hate players who think the only way to win is by using 10 hit combos.

Who said I was tired of it? I meant that I wanted someone to play me that wasn't a total scrub.
After playing 5 matches with people who spam throws and 10 hit combos, you start to crave an actual match that's worth your time.

The absolute worst is people who use Mokujin and then use the moves of other characters.

You think that's bad? I was at a friend's house playing online and the guy was a total spam master. He took the first round and the second round was tough, but I figured out his style.
Third round and I simply beat the hell out of the guy. Just as I was about to connect with the final blow, my friend's Xbox overheated and the match was cut short.
My victory over cheapness would have been so sweet, but alas, the dust in the fan had other plans. I vowed to take my Xbox with me when I visit from now on.

Nope. The Xbox had the red rings and everything. He even warned me beforehand, but I wanted it!
Also, I forgot it was a 3 out of 5, so I whipped his ass twice after a struggle. It would have been sweet.

At J Spit: Yeah that's worse. You get a DC and all for that.
Utter bull shit -__-
Does that mean you play on Xbox though? If so I need to add you, bro.
Anyone else having a problem unlocking things for characters? I can't seem to get the correct ghost matches. I've even spent time leveling up Devil Jin, Angel, and Jinpachi to True Tekken Gods in offline mode, and I still haven't unlocked any of Jinpachi's unique clothing. D:

Best thing to do is to play as those characters your trying to unlock for.
