I'm pretty sure the troops are fighting for the Iraqi people's freedom, anyway. Our freedom was never in question.

I really hate when people refer to the war in Iraq as "fighting for our freedom". We are already free, and this war has absolutely no impact on our freedom whatsoever, maybe you are the one who in fact needs to be doing the research.

Conformist? First of all not questioning anything leads to blind conformity, buddy. Second of all there just might of been some non-arab, israelite connections to 9/11 according to some of those articles. Not supporting our troops might not even be in question either. Just some of the reasons why the war was started. Technically the only 'arabs' out there are from Saudi Arabia.. so why are we in Iraq? Getting Sadam out was a good reason, but there just might be some manipulation by the goverment and to question any possible deception is essential.

I have researched it, and I know what I am talking about. I respect everyones opinion including your own, but there is no conspiracy. I didn't tell anyone not to question anything, in fact I told them I encourage them to research this topic before they agree with everyone. I don't like Bush or Kerry. In fact I hate our whole ****ing government. I don't support the government at this moment, because the politicians are over there (Iraq) for oil. This is where you have me misunderstood. It is my belief the politicians are there for oil, but I do believe that the troops are fighting for freedom. You can't tell me we aren't because soldiers are the ones fighting this war, and they have said it themselves. Yeah, Iraqi people are getting their freedom for it, but at the same time we are protecting American interests such as our freedom. You think that those rebel terrorist groups aren't a threat to our freedom? The **** they are and you have no right to say we aren't fighting for freedom.

When I think of fighting for freedom, I think of people invading and trying to overthrow our goverment. IMO, we aren't fighting for freedom, at least not the way I see it. Of course the terrorists pose a threat to us, especially if they launch WMDs (which may or may not exist) on us. That won't change us, though, or our freedom. When we were hit hard during 9/11, we were still free.

I kinda agree with the whole invasion/freedom thing. In my opinion though we are still fighting for freedom, just maybe not to the same degree as what you are thinking.

On another note, my art teacher last year was a conspiracy theorist. He told me the 9/11 one a LONG time ago. He had enough "evidence" that it looked credible enough, but then I dug deeper into the site the info was on. Apparently, Nazis were aliens sent to enslave the human race and root canals exist for the sole purpose of placing transmitters in your teeth.

I don't really support either of them. I think political parties in themselves are bad and make people base their values on their party rather than their own beliefs(if they even have their own)... George Washinton said they were bad news...

I know there is some kind of college/draft situation, but I'm not sure how it works. Bush wants a draft, and Kerry wants military service a mandatory thing. He wants everyone to serve at least 2 years in the military. **** both of them.

If you're going to college, I don't think you have much to worry about. My grandfather got drafted for WWII 2 weeks before going to college, though, so hurry up if you don't want to be drafted.

I, nor any other American should have to worry about being drafted because Bush should not allowed to be President anymore. Actually, Bush has said nothing about wanting to reinstate the draft. All it is is a bill created by congressman Charles B. Rangel, D, N.Y. and Senator Chuck Hegel, R, Nebraska. Rangel is in favor of the draft because he feels "disproportionate numbers of the poor and members of minority groups compose the enlisted ranks of the military." In other words, only poor people and minorities are in the military, so rich people should be forced to join as well. Chuck Hegel is in favor of the idea because he is a huge opponent of the war in Iraq and believes a draft is a way to demolish American support for it. In other words, all it is is a political ploy by these two asshole senators to undermine the war effort. Nevermind that it is a slap in the face to the soldiers who have volunteered and believe in what they are fighting for. It's just a two-bit political stunt by these two clowns, no way in hell it will get any serious support, especially not from President Bush.

Ok if Bush re starts the Draft it's not like there gonna use it. We have enough arm forces already. The draft is incase like WWIII starts up and we loose like a million soldiers or so were gonna need more men over there but you have nothing to worry about if they do start the draft they're not gonna start drafting ppl unless we really really need them. Because they no that drafting ppl who don't want to go is bad because they are crappy soldiers and they die real quick or get injured. Because a volenteer is a lot better soldier because they want to be there. Also if your in college your safe. But there not gonna restart the draft up.

All I think since the 9/11 incident, that it was organized by people from the inside. They missed all the previous times and on Sept 9, they could do it? The US is more corrupt than any other country. The thing is that it is a lot more well hidden.

I don't believe that George Bush and his entire office had anything to do directly with the attack--granted his being on vacation two weeks prior probably didn't help--but I do believe that he has used the tragedy and our mounting fear of terror to create a wild xenophobia and allow him to do the things that the government has wanted to do since Daddy was president, i.e. invade Iraq.

Sorry MaxDam, but actually the United States is not the most corrupt country in the world. Bulgaria is, and if you want me to prove it by finding the statistics somewhere I'd be more than happy.

It wasn't Bush's fault it was Clinton he lowered the security and the armed forces down so low he wasn't worried about anything he didn't think anyone could or would attack us and they did.
