I'm Romanian but I live in Canada. I came to Canada with my family 8 years ago, in early 1996. We couldn't tolerate the poverty in Romania anymore, so we moved to Canada 'cause we heard that it's a very good country and the best country to live in. I live in Laval, Quebec. I have grown very attached to Canada and there's no country where I'd rather live. I am also an extremely firm supporter of Federalism, because a separated Quebec is a weak Quebec and because a united country is a strong country. "L'Union fait la Force".

But enough with politics, let's move on to Hockey !

I'm very happy with Canada's lineup this year.
Iginla, Lecavalier, St.-Louis...an awesome lineup. And Martin Brodeur as goalie. They will go far.

The Swedish team however, is very strong as well. They've already got Koivu, and a bunch of other good players.

BTW, what are your favorite hockey teams ? Mine are, in descending order (1 being my favorite):
1: Montreal Canadiens (Go Habs Go !)
2: Calgary Flames
3: Toronto Maple Leafs
4: Colorado Avalanche
5: Tampa Bay Lightning

cool, well.. Brodeur is my role-model, so there's no way, i can lose faith in the team.

glad to see most canadian teams are doing much better than before. only exception was edmonton last year, but they did make a huge comeback towards the end, too bad they couldn't make it in as well.

A Vancouver vs Toronto matchup would be great.

I really think that Canada has big chances this year, but the Fins are also very strong. Canada should be careful if and when they face the Finnish team.

Yes. Canada does look quite dominant over their division.
As for the other division, well..there's Sweden and Finland.
