I'm posting this in the Xbox forum cuz that's who I want to see it. I think it would only get lost in another forum.

Here's a couple of trailers for movies I'd like to discuss...


This one is for, "I Am Legend". I'm not necessarily a big Will Smith fan, but this looks like a cool plot. After I saw the DoomsDay - Last man on Earth part, I was like, "Alright, that's kinda cool". But then when it got to the part where he's not alone, I thought, "Fucking Cool."

I saw this at Transformers. Now, as far as I know, nobody knows anything about this movie. People are calling it "Cloverfield", but apparently that's not the name of it. That's the way the creators wanted it, from what I can tell. This is a VERY vague and intriguing trailer. Couple that with the fact that it doesn't come out til Jan. '08, and it only adds to the "mystery" of it. I thought it's very cool trailer and seems like it could be a cool movie... whatever it is.

yeah, i have heard about I am legend for a while. It funny cuz the trailer makes the movie not as good as i imagined it. But i will still check it out. Btw...little known fact. Will Smith was the person who was originally going to play Neo in The Matrix...think he did MIB2 instead...lol.

Know the other movie...well..I saw trailers...they dont show anything...frankly...if it were real good their woudl be less of a secret behind it. They would want to show off a few more SFX shots. But who knows. I was the guy who thought Episode 1 was going to be groundbreaking and thought the Lord of the Rings was going to suck

Speaking of Trailers.. I was actually on the set of National Treasures 2 in London. Cage and Ed Harris. It looks like a good film.

But my the next movie I'm looking forward to is 'I am Legend' by Will Smith. It should be good.

So does anybody know what "Cloverfield" is supposed to be about? Any idea at all? That's got to be one of the most intriguing trailers I've ever seen.

My first impression was that it was some kind of bomb or something. Then I hear that noise, and I can't decide if it's a machine or an alien or some shit. Then, for some reason, when I see the Statue of Liberty head, I start thinking Godzilla or something...

As for I Am Legend. This is what I'm gathering...

World War III (basically) happens and the population is wiped out. So Will Smith is wandering around looking for other people. Then he eventually stumbles up some... Aliens? I guess? That's what my impression is.

Alien stuff creeps me out, but it's VERY interesting to me at the same time. You know, the whole "mystery" part of it. For example, "Signs" gave me the super willy's. So I think that's why both these trailers are so good to me. They're both VERY "teaser", huh? I like 'em.

Man Choas! That sounds like a crazy plot. I am really looking forward to it. The teaser is such a real tease so you're probably right.

You just see a bunch of kids partying then the lights go out, and you hear this bomb like noise with people scared and shit flying all over the place with I think the statue of liberty's head smashing across the street.

Chaos....Whatever Cloverfeild is I GUARANTEE its already been done

Giant Monsters - Godzilla, War of the Worlds
Meteor shower - Armegeddon, Deep Impact
They arent showing us stuff because we will have already seen it done before. If not better.


I am Legend....it has been kicked around for awhile. It was going to be done YEARS ago by Arnold Swa. I believe the orginal was done by Charlton Heston. The basic premise is suppose to be that Will Smith is the last human left in a world taken over by Vampires. He comes out during the day and hunts the vampires. To the point that the vampires fear him. That is why he is the "Legend". The trailer leads me to think that they did something else with it.

Also...I think that Lindsay Lohan is overrated. She looks like a little girl. On a 10 pt scale I give her a 6. I think without makeup and such she is average. I think that for a girl to be truly HOT. I have to feel that I wouldnt have a chance with her or that I havent banged girls better. In Lindsay's case not only have I banged better, but i think I would turn her down.
