I think this game is pretty much a port of the old PS one. Though i noticed some of the vehicles are from 2nd Offense.

Nah. They're re-inventing the game. It's going to borrow aspects from both previous vigilante games.

Yeah, I remember V8. The combat car game no doubt inspired by Twisted Metal, honestly I'm not a fan of either that much but enjoyed V8 a lot more then TM.

TM2 is one of the most addictive games mankind as ever made. Game first came out in 96 and I'm still playing it....

Paris Level > All.

The second one, the characters were way better and storyline then V8 I'll admit but the gameplay I enjoyed more on V8, kept me in it a lot longer then TM did.

Just my preference I guess but I didn't really play either that often, more casually.

Twisted Metal Fact:In the Paris level of Twisted Metal 2, the secret code that is behind the Mona Lisa (after you burn the Mona Lisa...wishful thinking) is incorrect. The secret code (which unlocks the Cyburbia level from Twisted Metal 1) reads "/\, \/, L1, R1", but the code is actually "\/, /\. L1, R1".

BTW MINION, is Minion your favorite Twisted Metal character??

My favorite is Axel. He dominates in everything. Minion is cheap!

989 Studios ruined Twisted Metal... when they came back with a new creator with Black, I was in Heaven... I can't wait for this next game.

Pound for pound, Spectre is one of the top 5 tiers in TM2. His special can shoot through buildings. And is damn strong. General Warthog in 2, is prolly top 10. Due to the Patriot Missiles it shoots out. Close to MINION's special. But not as powerful.

2 Clowns, Sweet Tooth drives the white ice cream truck. He's Needles Kane.
Darktooth is the HUGE Black ice cream truck you fight in the Hong Kong crunch level in TM2. He's Charlie Kane, The old CAB driver from TM1. Sweet Tooths father.

MINION, is the BIG 4 wheeled tank in TM2. He is Marcus Kane. Also the driver of Roadkill.

I actually thing Warthog is relatively weak in tm2. The Patriot special doesnt seem to take away that much life. Atleast in the pc version that I have.Mr Grim, however, has the best special in the whole game.

You're partially correct. Marcus Kane only drove Minion in TMB. The driver of Minion in TM1-4 was also named Minion. Read his TM2 bio when you unloick him. Sucks I can't find any pics of Marcus Kane from TMB.
*If you wanna be precise, Minion drove Super Minion in TM4.

Games 3 to 4 were non-canon. Due to them being made by 989 studios.
