Yo, howz it playaz?

just kidding, thats me trying to be ghetto. No harm done right? To get to the point of this thread, i'd just like to figure out what 1st person Shooters y'all play on your PC's.

I have been into Serious Sam for awhile now. It is a fricking blast to play. I got GOLD on my PC for only 7.95, which means i got Sam 1 and 2 for like 4 bucks each. This is what has been tiding me over until Deception hits shelves.

I own Halo for PC but don't play it anymore...UT2K4 is about the only online PC shooter I play now.

Doom, Doom II, Ultimate Doom, jDoom(it's awesome; if you have the original Dooms, defenitely download it!), and last but not least Doom 3.

I played lots of console FPSers back in my days of VGs, and yes Serious Sam owned for the Xbox!

I used to play Counter-Strike a lot.
Until I finished high school and went to collage. sad
Now I don't have the time to play games a lot.

The fact I'm using Linux isn't much helpful either.
However, I do, occasionally, play Unreal Tournament 2004 (there's a Linux version for it). smile

I mostly play UT2k4 and Doom3 as far as PC shooters. I also have Battlefield 1942, Max Payne 2 rocks, Soldier of Fortuine, Hitman, & the more recent Wolfenstein, but I hardly ever have time to play those.

Has anybody done any mods or level design with the Unreal engine? It's amazing what you can do with it!

used to play quake 3 arena, now i'm on half life: counterstrike when my PC doesn't lag on it (99.9999% of the time)

Hey, if any of you Doom3 players want a big boost in performance/fps with very little work (using notepad to change 1 value), read this!!! You won't be dissapointed.grin
