Heck, let's make an entire section on the site dedicated to the Drive-By. We can split it into several different topics, so it's easier to discuss individual things. We can call it the General Discussion Forum, or something.
I'm not saying there can't be other threads and it is pretty dumb to take what I said that way. I'm just saying that if something is ALREADY being discussed in Drive-By there is no point to give it it's own thread. Especially when it is a topic like this that will only be relevant for a few weeks at most. If it is a game being discussed in Drive-By and the game then gets its own thread then I see that as ok because it can be relevant for a long time (looks at the Pokémon Thread, TTT2 thread, PSABR thread).
It's silly to say something being discussed in one jumbled thread shouldn't be discussed somewhere more focused. I had no idea there was a christmas gift discussion in another thread. I wouldn't have ever known unless I went back several pages in the drive by. Having it's own separate thread makes more sense, especially when there's such little activity on the forums, and there are such strict rules for posting new threads, so they don't pop up often.
You seem to be overly defensive about this for one reason or another, so if you choose to discuss this further, I'd be happy to chat over PM. We have gone off topic enough.
