My character is a male Nord. Level 25, major skills: smithing, 1 hand, destruction. Current armor is heavy dragon plate, weapons are legendary daedric sword, bow.

I was trying to make a mage/warrior type of character, but now I'm thinking of leveling my stealth because one of the main quests recommends it. Really wish I didn't have to choose which skills I want to specialize in.

Dark elf. I LOVE dark elves. Elves overall, actually, but the darker the better. ;P

Bosmer. (Wood Elf). Level 23, Werewolf. Primaries: Sneak, Archery, and Lockpick.

They're great stealth characters, and don't look as silly as Khajiit (nowadays...)
Bosmer also kick ass with a bow.

All-in-all, perfect sneaks.
My sneak is so high right now, it's ridiculously easy to just continually take potshots with my bow, while standing two feet away from a Draugr Wight/Scourge/Scourge Master, until they die. They can't even find me at an arm's length. I love stealth.
I also have a level 12 Breton 'battlemage,' as it was known.
Primaries: Heavy Armor, Destruction, Conjuration and One-Handed.
I'll probably catch Vampirism, for fun.

My main characters have always been Argonian and probably always will be. Generally well rounded, and awesome.

All JR is saying is that NS922's statement was not correct because you clearly said it's for those that already have the game or plan on getting it, as in not assuming everyone likes Skyrim.

I have a pretty sweet level one and a half Orc. His name is "Killswitch" traditionally.

This is a comparison photo I put together for my friend on FB, to show how I can make my favorite race (aside from Dunmers) actually LOOK Black , as opposed to what that race naturally looks like. In Oblivion, the best I could get was a red/orange looking Breton lol. I have to say that I'm very pleased with the level of customization in this game.

I'm already making plans to restart and try out different character styles and races; I want (at the least) a Breton Necromancer, either a Breton/Altmer Elemental Mage, an Argonian/Dark Elf Assassin (or NightBlade), and a Redguard/Orc Warrior (or Berserker). Yep, that's right, I might have dabbed in the strategy guide....a bit (^_^) lol.
