"Tell Me" ~ Nobuo Uematsu, Final Fantasy VIII

I can really feel Quistis' despair in this song...

Spoilers: (Highlight to reveal)
Demoted and told she had no leadership potential, and the guy that she likes is a major ass to her. I feel so sorry for her as a character. Orphaned, rejected by her foster family, and now told that she's no good at the one thing she could hold pride in. Then she later admits that she just gave up hope on ever having Squall when Rinoa came into the picture.


It just overflows with her inner sadness at losing all that she's hoped for. It's the kind of music that could course through the mind of a desperate, suicidal person who's only hope of happiness lies in the promise of heaven. It strikes one of those hard-to-reach chords inside of me. Feelings of hopelessness and loneliness so sad that you can't even cry about them. sad

All the people on gagadaily are sitting there trying to justify it. Maybe Lady GaGa, is just trying to prove that even if she sells a piece of crap, people will still buy it because her new style is "rough and edgy" and of course people just eat that shit up.

Hmm... Pretty weak excuse. But that song is seriously terrible... maybe its all a practical joke? And the real "bad romance" is coming out later? :S

My comment about Bad Romance came across wrong which is why I deleted it.

I meant I preferred the demo to the new version but now I love the new version. It's my favourite song of the moment.
