Well, as my sig says, the theatrical version of The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King will be coming out for VHS and DVD on May 25,2004. So, if you get it, where will you go to first?
I'll go to the chapter where the orcs overrun Osgiliath, then skip to the Siege of Gondor/Battle of Pelennor Fields, then I'll skip to the Black Gate, then look at the special features, the watch the whole movie.

How about you?

I'm gonna watch it start to finish, perhaps watch the other two the night before. I already have ROTK on DVD, but a 'true' copy is what I really need to finish the set.

I'm going to wait for the 100% version later this year, as compared to the 75% version we'll be getting next month...

He has a good point. The extended version will be worth it the most. Then after thatttt comes out there will probably be 2 boxed sets, 1 normal and 1 with the extended scence movies, etc.

There is already a box set for the theatrical version. It will be released on May 25 aswell:
The extended one will probably be set before the end of the year.

The shitty thing about Box-Sets is I already own 1 and 2. I will buy the 3rd and screw the box. Perhaps I'll also box up my bootlegs and have a 'Bootleg Box Set'.
