Like I said dude,Janet is the reason for all of this FCC mess.Janet started the crack down on TV and Radio.Although I dont think they should have tooken him off the air.His show came on at night and it was for adults not kids. With Janet she did her stuff in the daytime WITH LITTLE KIDS WATCHING.Now that's wrong.and worst of all she KNEW kids were watching.
And, no, the people DON'T elect anybody nowadays. Everything is fixed.

Of course I'm not speaking for all Canadians, but there's a surprising (or not) amount of anti-Bush sentiment up here in the great white north. He's the butt of neverending jokes.

Yes, and yes. If I were you peoples in the US of A I wouldn't vote for Bush, I just see him sending the States into a downward spiral. I do like the US, but remember - all empires fall eventualy, Roman, Spanish, British, French, Russian, eventualy your time will come. And Bush is begining to strain, if they weren't alredy, the relationships with neutral nations IMO. If your not careful more than a few countries in the East will start to do bad things. The resentment is getting higher there all the time. Now speaking of higher, Shadaloo said about Canadians loving Clinton. Well I'm no different so enjoy:

Do you know about the shit Dubya, Jeb, and Katherine Harris pulled in Florida? Are you aware that, because Florida law forbids ex-felons from voting, not only were 31% of black male Floridians (who are overwhelmingly Democrats) barred from voting due to a felony on their record, but the ex-felons lists compiled by Jeb and Harris included the names of THOUSANDS of law-abiding blacks in Florida? Are you aware that police were stationed at inner city polling places to make sure those on the lists didn't vote, and threaten to arrest anyone who protested? Seriously, read the first chapter of "Stupid White Men." It's packed with information (which, I assure you, is well-grounded) about how Bush stole Florida.
And for the record, I'm not in love with the Democrats either. Both major parties are funded by corporations, and it's the corporations' interests that politicians of both parties look out for before the American people. But I would have to say the Republicans are worse.

NO one tryed to invade us ever cuz we have a law to let us bare arms so Rite to bear arms over IRAQ I choose my arms forget IRAQ |
You're right on the FCC; now that I think about it, the NOFX song "Please Play THis Song on the Radio," which was from the early 90s, has a line mentioning the FCC.
Regarding guns, if you think Kerry would have the power to do that, I don't know what the fuck you're on. First of all, while he can pass stricter gun control laws, he can't nullify the second amendment. Second, stricter gun control, or even the loss of the personal right to bear arms, will not make us vulnerable to invasion. If we didn't have any ARMED FORCES, then maybe we'd be in trouble.

Nah but if Kerry did have the power to outlaw guns for the common man, who the hell is gonna invade you, us! HA we have like one old submarine from WWII and maybe some planes from the 50's. Mexico? They'd be killin their own people! (no offense) Nah you've not got anything to worry about. Although that death by gunfire per year stat in 'Bowling for Cloumbine' is pretty alarmining if you live in the US.

Exactly. I've known for a long time that Kerry protested Vietnam after he got back, and I don't think he did so because it was the "in" thing to do. He was brave for speaking out against the war; he put his ass on the line with the government by questioning its policies.
And Drfatality, Bush's DUI isn't the only skeleton in his past. What about the 18 months of being AWOL? Also, Bush has been arrested three times: once for the fairly well-known DUI, once for disorderlyy conduct at a football game, and once for stealing a Christmas wreath.
But his criminal record isn't why I want Bush out of office. I want Bush out of office because he manipulated the voting process in Florida to win the election. I want him out because he told America a barrage of lies to push the war with Iraq. I want him out because he's using our fear to take away our civil liberties, meanwhile lining the pockets of his rich corporate friends.
Consider this: after 9/11, the world offered an enormouys display of sympathy to America. It took Bush less than a year to turn America back into one of the most resented countries on Earth. In the days following 9/11, America saw an unprecidented level of unity and patriotism. Today, we're more divided than we have been since Vietnam, if not the Civil War! Who's to blame for this? Is it the Democrats, who controls ZERO branches of government? Or is it the haphazard foreign policy of a drunken frat boy in his 50s whose daddy gave him everything he ever had?

Filling the rich pockets?Bush is making it easy for everyone by lowering the taxes down for people like myself who arent rich.Kerry wants to RAISE it.Kerry dosent care for nobody except himself. If he does become president expect him to be out of office quick if he keeps going back and forth on topics.

Did you skip that little lesson in US history when they talked about checks and balances? Legislation never rests on the shoulders of a single man, ie. the president. A president can't just pull a law out of his ass banning a certain medium of free speech/press. Fortunately, the US government is NOT a totalitarian regime (not yet anyway...). We have a ratings system already, there's not much more the government can do. Also, going back to the whole MTV thing, I will concede that that's bullshit, he's pandering to the youth vote; but that's the point. Who plays video games? Middle-aged white men? No! Teens! He'd be pissing the youth vote away if he tried to ban video games!
