Yeah, Paul Anderson. The same guy that made Mortal Kombat. Now, how will it suck if he's directing it?

I'm looking forward to it. I own the Aliens vs. Predator comics and they were cool.

If this movie came out like 10 years ago, when everyone wanted to see it, it might be cooler. I've been waitin so long for this movie, it's lost all hype to me.

Same thing happened with Freddy vs Jason, tho that movie was actually better then I was expecting, so anythings possible.

I suppose this movie could be really cool, I'll have to wait and see what the reaction is.

btw - Predator's > Aliens

ps - I dunno who brought Friday into this, or why, but those movies are classics.

Both me and my frinds saw the add when leaving the theaters and we all thought it was gonna suck. I wouldn't be suprised if it did but i was suprised to see that Freddy VS Jason was good. Also, is there a Freddy VS Jason sequel on the works?

The effects and creatures are cool, but my bro and I had an awesome idea for the screenplay. The characters and story look kind of shitty for this movie. Watch the originals Predator,Predator 2, ALIEN 1-3.

movie is gonna be dumb anderson cant direct for shit...the predator is suppose to be a bad ass sneaky..cloaked 24/7 alien.. he lives for the hunt.. the only time he reviels his true form is when he finds a worthy opponet... like in predator 1 (predator 2 doesnt count)the predator does the oppsite of this in the avp trailer which is why i was disappointed.. they got rambo type predators now... predators r suppose to be stealthy..so the audience never knows when a predator is goin to attack... keeping them on the edge of their seats... but avp is mostly likely gonna be a stupid action movie like resident evil was..i wouldnt be surprise if they used bullet time...

Personally I've been a huge fan of ALL (thats right ALL OF THEM) of the movies in both the Alien and Predator franchises. I've read the comic books each had separately and togetherand I've enjoyed the arcade game of alien vs. predator as well as the first person shooter titles by the same name on PC.

That being said I think it would be quite apparent that I am incredibly excited about this movie. I understand what one of you said about the predator living for the hunt and not showing themselves until the final showdown but I like the whole manhood ritual thing that this movie is working with. I've never had a big problem with Paul Anderson in the past (I mean he is not an academy award winning director but i like the movies he's directed including the first Mortal Kombat, Resident Evil and the weird ass movie Event Horizon). I'm not going to go as far to say that this will be the best movie ever made but its about fucking time an AVP movie came out and I'd be lying if I said I had only a little bit of interest in it.
