This is another question to which my answer will be someone no one here knows (or maybe they do but not because of fame). The person I know has inspired me by being very strong through tough times, and never letting it make them bitter or angry. This person keeps their cool in the toughest of situations.

Harry Truman 33rd President of the US...He had a tough act to follow during a terrible time and had one of the hardest decisions in history to make (Whether or not he made the right decision, I will not say). Then when he went up for re-election, he totally screwed the news people by winning by a landslide when they predicted he would lose (there was even printed newspaper headings saying his opponent won). This from someone that everyone thought was a 'country hick.'

Note: If you have no idea what I'm talking about, sad.

I've never had a specific "hero," per se, but some people I admire are Jayme Jasta (the lead singer of Hatebreed) for the inspirational messages in his lyrics, which have directly affected important decisions I've made; Fat Mike from NOFX, for creating Punkvoter.com, an online organization which works to unite and enfranchise punks against Bush; and probably some more, who I'll post later if I think of them.
