anyway...i think its the funny factor and the fact that "geeks" are now the popular norm since our medium is the popular medium(comic book shows(smallville), movies(spider-man, LOTR) and plus our video games rule)

i just found out that my GF loves MK!! omg i cant wait to play against her some day!

There are three reasons why your gf "puts up" with you:

1)She isn't interested in having a long-distance relationship with me, so she says that as soon as I have enough money, she'll run away with me.

B)She's afraid you'll do something drastic if/when she eventually leaves you for me (which she basically did some time ago; she's just being "polite")

III)She's in on my master plan to drive you insane and have your world come crashing down around you.

I must be one of the very few geeks in the world who used to bash the "tough" guys back in high school, rather than the other way around, lol.

Ooo, I missed that. It was of course the comic book guy (which is his name in the show, as far as I know) from the Simpsons.

Yep, they do look pretty funny... Not that I'm really in a position to talk, I'm a complete freak by most peoples standards.

We have a WINNER!!!!!!!!!!!!! That bit was so funny, it was the episode where they made the Radioactive Man movie. Definitely in my top 20 fav. simpsons episodes. smile
