I haven't played them thus far but as an app fan I like the idea of it.

People like to bitch and moan about anything. If it wasn't controls then it would have been graphics, price or something else.

I've never even heard about this port, much less seen people bitch about it

I got quite far on GTA 3 on iPod without having a problem with the controls until the mission "Bomb Da Base Act II" but I've always had problems with that mission since 2001 anyway lol.
I've played it a bit on my iPad and its MUCH easier but I haven't got to the aforementioned mission yet though.

I didn't know GTA Vice City was coming out on it too. That's awesome, can't wait.
I'd probably prefer it on XBLA but that's because I'm an achievement whore.

I've got gta3 for my xperia play so i have no problem with the controls but i could imagine that its difficult to adjust playing it on a touch screen when you're used to playing on a pad.
