XBOX ONE - D-PAD issue. HELP!

I noticed this with Injustice and now, in MK X. Has anyone experienced issue is trying to jump diagonally? Lately, my character seems to jump straight up as opposed to up and over. I thought I was going crazy at first, but it's definately happening again.

I tried to clean out the D-pad with a toothpick to losen up any dust or debris init.

Any other suggestions? Has this happened to anyone else?

I just want to make sure before I shell out $50 for a new controller.

I've had the same problem, I know that MKX allows "ignoring" diagonals in its game options for gamepads.

My issue was the left thumb stick though. But same result, had difficulty jumping and blocking diagonals.

A month or so later the stick gave up the ghost and now gets stuck when pushed left. My only solution is a new controller.
