Beer doesn't automatically equate to wasted, asleep, and hung over. Drink responsibly. Rarely is alcohol a good taste, so people deal with it to get their drink on. I mean, you said yourself that you've smoked five joints. People like to enjoy life, and alcohol and drugs sometimes provide some enjoyment. They're not emo or total idiots, all the time.
Don't like drugs or alcohol? That's fine by me. I just think you should be a little more open minded.

Drink responsibly? Why drink it at all? If it don't taste good one bit and literally destroys your own body? Why? Who pumped our head full of the lie that drinking is cool?

Tell me ONE helpful thing drinking has done to you aside from the stimulating effects it gives and aside from easing the pain of everyday life?

Admit it, you drink it cause society tells you to. Because its popular and "cool". You do it cause others around you are. Soon, if you get addicted to it and can't stop. Soon after, disease, pain, depression and death.

What a weak minded decision it is to give in to the conformity of our cultures and society at the cost of our happiness, lives, and health. And not kids are falling victim to this tragedy. You can only blame the 18 or over for underage drinkers because they can't buy the stuff. They take it from the person who bought it.

So sad...

Nothing I can say will change this but I still am not afraid anymore to be honest and tell the truth.

Why aren't the stimulating effects and easing the pain of everyday life enough? Why must there be a deeper reason for drinking alcohol to you?
I don't believe that people should get drunk/smashed, but the stimulating effect can be pleasurable, and given how cruel this world can be, sometimes it's better to feel that buzz and have fun with it amongst good company than to sulk as the weight of the world crushes your spirit.
In moderation, alcohol can be good for you; will you live that much longer if you don't drink at all? Probably, but if you don't drink that much, and not often as well, what's the harm?
Keep in mind that I'm only defending drinking alcohol, not getting drunk, getting smashed, drinking alone, or binge-drinking, as I think that those are different from simply drinking alcohol.
