I love when you clear the game and return to Catwoman's apartment as her. She see's her whole apartment is burned to the ground with graffiti on the walls and just goes "oh for the love of..." lol

Can people help me out with a few things?

First, I'm trying to find the Mad Hatters apartment again so I can go visit him.

Second, I'm wondering is it possible to see Killer Croc's bio even if you miss out on seeing him in the sewers?

Third, what else is there to do as Catwoman once you get all the stolen jewels from Two Face's Guards?

Both Mad Hatter and Killer Croc are tied to two of the Riddler's riddles. I forget where, exactly, but if you locate the Mad Hatter riddle location, Mad Hatter will be inside still.

You can get Croc's bio by solving the Riddle connected to him in the sewers. There's a bit of a hole in the sewers you can fall into that shows where Croc has been living (and eating) that's necessary for solving another riddle. When you solve that riddle, Croc's bio will be unlocked.

As for Catwoman, well, there's the 40 Catwoman trophies that are exclusive to her. Also, Catwoman can visit many of the villains Batman encountered or defeated (Bane, Mr. Freeze, Penguin, Mad Hatter) and she'll have unique dialogue with them all.

First play through I loved this game
Second was when I started noticing a few short comings but thats to be expected.
One thing I hate is not being able to glide off wonder tower that would be epic.

Also even though it is a pretty small area for an open world game, I always get lost looking for things

Like Garlador said, she has her own Riddler trophies...but that's pretty much it for her story missions for now. There's a DLC pack coming sometime this month I believe that will add 4 more missions for her, though.

lol, well what can I say. On the one hand seven bucks for an on disc DLC character with no dialogue is shitty, its still fucking Nightwing. Had to get it

It's odd.... I bothered finding all of the riddles in Arkham Asylum yet in this game I suddenly lost interest in finding all of the riddles and trophies around the 250th one I found.

Well, there was only around 200 or so in the original game. There are over twice as many in this game, so there's just so many more to get. I got them all; none of them are really hard to get, but there was only about 10 or so that really offered a nice challenge or required some brains.

After you beat the game, you can pretty much get all the rest in clean-up in a few hours or so.

Beating Riddler and seeing that 100% completion percentage is definitely worth doing all the riddles imo

I saved hostage number two and Riddler said I hadn't enough secrets solved to get the clue for the third hostage. Is he reffering to trophies?

Yeah he is. I'm not sure on the exact hard number % ratio but you need to keep collecting challenge trophies until the game prompts you that the next victim is available to rescue. I'm not positive but I think you'll need a 100% on the Riddler trophies to completely finish Riddler's story arc.

I simply LOVE this game. My brother bought the collector's edition on XBox... then he showed me... I fell in love with it. I bought the collectors edition for PS3.

Catwoman is amazing, I bought the game mainly for her and I have a hard time going to sleep now lolll it's so addictive.

You don't need ALL the trophies to finish the Riddler's story arc, at least not if you got a few as Catwoman. I think you just need 400 total, including both Batman and Catwoman.

And I do agree, it IS worth getting all the Riddler's trophies and solving his riddles for the ultimate showdown with him in his lair.

Not JUST that, but as you complete rows of trophies per area, you unlock INCREDIBLE interview tapes with many of Arkham City's villains, which provides, IMO, essential backstory and motivation to characters in the game. Want to know why Catwoman is in Arkham City or how Two-Face found out where she was in the beginning? In the interview tapes. Want to know where Penguin got his firepower? Interview tapes. Want to know how Riddler escaped Hugo Strange's grasp? Interview tapes. All of it unlocked through Riddler trophies.

And, once again, solving certain environment puzzles also unlocks concept art and character bios that are very entertaining.

Impressive! Any advice for those of us with less impressive stats? (and here I was feeling pretty good about 60-hit combos...)

Well, it took me forever to get to one million, but once I got there I just kept going.

I used Batman, but you can use anyone to get to one million, it shouldn't make too big of a difference. What you have to do is not drop your combos. Just keep hitting people and don't stop. Only counter when you're absolutely sure someone is about to hit you, or else Batman will drop the combo. What I did was I would do a strike or two, evade, strike, evade, strike, and so on.

Don't bank your points until you get all the way to the top and bring the titan out. That's when you bank. When the lieutenant comes out, focus on him. If you've got a high combo going when he comes out then you can got a lot of points from him. When the titan comes out, get on top of him and use the ground pound to get a lot of points. Good luck!

Yeah I've been trying with Catwoman and I'd advise against it since she can't ride Titans. Coupled with her lower damage (at least it feels lower than Bats), Lieutenant and Titan match ups are a bitch. Also, I don't like the way her whip stun tracks. It doesn't feel as fluid and precise as Batman's cape stun. Whip disarm feels like it has a longer start up animation too than batclaw.

It's werid but Catwoman is quick as hell in her movement speed and her critical attacks but a lot of her special takedowns seem to all have longer animations than Batman. The upside: special takedowns all have invincibility frames. The downside: while she's busy preening, the rest of the enemies are re-equipping weapons. She does have that nasty spinning whip trip that is excellent for crowd control since it causes PBAoE knowckdown AND disarms weapons/shields.

But yeah, moral of the story. I'm switching to the Batman.

Just finished this, and man, what a tour de force this was. As a Bat-fan of more than twenty years, going all the way back to gazing in wonder and hero-worship at Adam West back before '89 came out and blew my brains away, I gotta say I'm impressed. Heck, more than impressed. I feel like I need a cigarette.
Spoilers: (Highlight to reveal)

No way in hell do I believe Joker is gone for good. I think it's part of a larger plan: IMO, Joker got a free pass outside Arkham City by being temporarily dead. Sickness is too anticlimactic a note to go out on, and Hamill's public statement that he's done with Joker (apart from, of course, a Killing Joke adaptation that both he and us all would love) just seems a little too convenient for me. I would really not be surprised if three years down the line they reveal he voice acted AC and pt. 3 at the same time, so...he technically told the truth...from a certain point of view....>_>

Going to go tear my hair out with New Game+ soon, but I need to finish off a few physical challenges and do all the maps first.

Didn't even see the last boss coming, and I was mortified when all we got from him for the first game was a tease. That has to be one of the best fights ever, even if it was on the easy side.

I'm going to have "Only You" in my head for a number of days. Wow.

Just closed the case on all storylines and villains.
This was fucking awesome.
What a ride.
I feel the same way I felt many years ago as a little kid reading the knightfall comic series. Everything is so perfectly dark, violent and beautiful at the same time. Loved the final angle with Riddler, and the Identity Theft conclusion was just fucking mwah. When I beat the main storyline, I was thinking how hard it would be to justify a Batman Arkham game 3. But with this finish, a third game is a must from every possible point of view.

And yeah, the final boss battle at the end of the main story was awesome, not particularly for being a great game boss per se, but for the unexpected twist and interpretation of another amazing character.

10/10.

I'm still not bored playing as Catwoman. Even though I've gotten all of the loot back, I just love leaping up the buildings, leaping off them, and cracking onto a rooftop with her whip. And backflipping into fights before laying the smackdown! I'm in love with this game. Would love more DLC Chapters to add in for her, maybe one where Ivy attacks her for failing to get the orchid in the vault.

I had no idea Catwoman couldn't take control of Titan thugs. I don't understand why they wouldn't give her that ability, but oh well.
