This thread made me realize that Marvel has the exact opposite problem as DC. Marvel has too many cool heroes and not enough villains. DC has too many cool villains and not enough heroes.

Ouch.

I'm kind of iffy about Carnage. On one hand, I really do want Carnage because I know he'd be really unique from Venom. And Venom has been in 2 MvC games, so it would be nice for Carnage to get a chance to shine.

On the other hand, Venom is quite possibly the most iconic Spidey villain. He's also highly requested from anyone who wants this type of game. Plus I like Venom way more.

So I'm pretty torn here. Unless one of them was introduced as DLC...

Spider-Man has a lot of iconic villains. My mind goes to Dr. Octopus and Green Goblin though.

Still be nice for Marvel to have a fighting like Injustice. Have Spider-Man as the main hero & villain.

The best hope we have for a good Marvel fighting game rests with Capcom... Which doesn't leave me with a lot of hope. Capcom make good fighting games, but I feel Neatherealm create a better single player experience and treat their franchise with respect.

But because I love marvel so much I could create a quick roster. - The first 10 I feel best represent marvel, the last 5 are personal favorites I would like to see in a fighting game.

I always found Green Goblin to be my least favourite Spiderman villain by miles. He is like a lame Batman who is evil. In fact, now I think about it, he is the product of Batman and The Joker having a kid. That sounds good on paper but in reality he is lame (IMO).

For purposes of a video game Dr Octopus, Rhino, Scorpion, Venom or Carnage would all be awesome.
