Thought ya all would like this. I found it interesting how they are differentiating it from MK.

I'm nervous about the special button moves. Particularly Flashes which allows him to move faster and causes his opponent to move slower. It sounds like it can be game breaking.

Ya it will be interesting to see for sure. I also wonder how they are going to make all the background character moves individualized? I would think that it would be easy to run out of ideas, especially if there are some similar characters.

Thanks for the links. Very curious, and can't wait to see more in action.

On a side not, for a second I thought one person was having a conversation with himself until I realized you two share avatars grin

I don't think we have anything to worry about, except some uniqueness amongst the actual kharacter list VS the stage selections:

For instance we know the Watchtower will be a stage, yet how many iconic areas of that specific stage will show up or will they simply need to make 2 separate stages for the Watchtower in specific:

2 areas I'd expect and would kinda be disappointed if they don't show up:

* Hydroponics Area: I think this is a MUST if we get specific characters like: Poison Ivy, Swamp Thing, Queen Bee, Hawkman, etc. Yet, Superman/Wonderwoman could rip a tree out showing the roots and literally use it as a baseball bat and I actually expect that to happen in at least 1 stage. I could see Catwoman/Cheetah do some acrobatic cat attacks and again kinda expect that in some tree somewhere in the game. Lex Luthor could simply blast a missle knocking the big tree on the opponent. Zatanna, Circe, Felix Faust type characters could literally make the tree come to life or turn it into something in the form of a weapon, who knows. Solomon Grundy, Killer Croc, Gorilla Grodd, Mongul, Doomsday, could break the tree in half showing their brute strength and use it to smash the opponent. I could even see Mirror Master utilizing a water reflection attack in some wild unique unexpected ways.

* Aquarium Area: Built specifically for Aquaman but MANY other uses could become of it. I'd expect some wild options for Aquaman, Black Manta, Killer Croc, and even Swamp Thing and Poison Ivy could also make great use of the Aquarium area. I could see Black Canary scream the glass out, whereas Batman could use his Explosive Gel and obliterate it and Green Arrow could simply shoot arrows around the opponent landing their design into the glass and all of a sudden it breaks from the leak. Superman could literally destroy it by kicking the opponent through it causing a big leak then it all bursts out in the floor, which could flood the floor causing electrical interactions to be possible. Captain Cold could throw an icycle at it causing it to pour out similar to Superman's, yet he freezes the flowing water causing an iceburg wave to hit the opponent.

I really don't think enough people recognize this could be THE GAME to finally utilize proper background interactions the right way, so far we've seen what we WOULD EXPECT, now I'd like to see some UNIQUENESS with the backgrounds. After what they did with MK9, I can't wait to see more!!!

I just pray for some Poison Ivy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dude those are some good ideas. They are actually some of the better ones that I have heard yet. I do seriously hope the background moves are unique also. Shared moves can become rather redundant. I definitely think that NRS is on the right track though...

What kinda ideas could we come up with for interactions with Arkham Asylum, hoping that the very iconic stage does indeed make the cut.

I'd like to see cells for Joker, Poison Ivy, Scarecrow, and Catwoman as a reference to them busting out, once they're unlocked. Joker's cell could have the little teeth hoping around randomly and if someone gets knocked into it, they bite the opponent all over. Poison Ivy's cell could have one pi$$y fly trap that takes a good bite out of the opponent if knocked into hers. Scarecrow's cell could have a gas haze in it and if the opponent gets knocked into it, they stumble out and sleepy for 5 seconds allowing a sweet combo on them. Finally, Catwoman's could have her caltrops covering her floor, and when the opponent's tossed into it, they come running out hoping in pain. Storywise, Harley Quinn unlocks the 4, yet Catwoman becomes neutral and Poison Ivy only helps Joker/Quinn to begin with and soon turns on everyone like expected!!!

I'd also love to see specific non-playable characters not only cameo but become part of the interaction, if like:

Mad Hatter - while screaming for Alice, he throws all his tea party stuff at the opponent if knocked into the outside of his cell.

Calendar Man - he could say 12 different random holiday messages and grab the opponent's shirt at the heart area, holding the opponent down for you.

Riddler - he could have a questionmark staff made from soap lol, that he uses to pull the opponent to the cell holding them for an open attack.

Yet 1 cell remains locked and all you can hear is like a dinosaur stomping if you get near it, it's totally sealed up but you can see 1 hole and randomly a big eye appears in it followed by something banging on the door wanting out badly. It's Killer Croc in a special BIG cell in a special area of the stage and due to time will be released, which would be a big epic scene when he is unleashed via DLC. After he's unlocked and you return to the stage, his cage will have no interaction but would show big footprints leading to a sewer drain which we are to figure he excaped to.

Atlantis, the most-wanted stage for this game, how do we see this stage's interactions and are they even possible?

I see this stage as one huge snow-globe, with the castle making the majority of the background and a huge fountain in the front with maybe even a moat around the castle to support some kind of animal life. I kinda expect a lot of aquarium-like walls to house some helpers for Aquaman, which other characters could use as well like Black Canary's could level her vocals to call on dolphins with sonar adaptions, I can see a rather comical one with Grundy where he jumps in a whale's mouth and is shot like a huge cannonball out the spout (Grundy can bounce). Other characters like Astrocitus could turn the water to blood in some unique way and Zatanna could literally "part the Red Sea" and smash the opponent with both waves she summons. Batman could summon his Batboat, lol that will probably be on there regardless in some way. Red Tornado could make a piranna-infested tornado. Poison Ivy could knock the opponent on a lily pad that spins the opponent dizzy like the teacup rides and quote "This little baby will take you for spin" followed by her evil echoing laugh. Black Canary could utilize conch shells and cause a sonic boom with them, whereas someone else could simply crack one over someones head, and somebody else could use them as a projectile. I could see Captain Cold making an iceburg out of some water-based stage or maybe even make an ice-skating ring/attack.

I'd also like to see how Cheetah and Catwoman both react if they get wet, that's going to be one thing I'm looking to see if the NRS can think that up to include, being they despise getting wet. Maybe it could even make them kinda quicker/more pi$$y/stronger for a few seconds.

I'm a bit worried specifically for this stage. So what other ideas could make this stage POSSIBLE???
