I'm fairly certain it's 2D gameplay, with 3D environments and character models, like MK9.
No sidestepping from what I've heard.

It is 2D but it has multiple level tiers. I know some levels have more than others but most have up to 3.

Alright. Just making sure. Wasn't going to event think about getting it if it had 3-D. Netherrealm never could get it right with MK:DA - MKvsDC. Was always slow and clunky.

I'll get it either way if there are other characters than those stared in the Justice League TV show. I would aslo like more diversity.
