Apparently that's the strongest incarnation of Hulk. If there is a different one, please do tell.

So it went down like this.

Went to IGN to see their comments on the Doomsday trailer and now it's a debate of who will win between Doomsday and World War Hulk because somebody just had to say "I wish for a Marvel/DC crossover game". I guess that incarnation of hulk is the only one to have a fair fight with Doomsday. Dunno bout you, but I think Doomsday would win that fight. Take off that whole "doomsday comes back stronger each time he dies" and "hulk gets stronger the more he is mad". Lets just have Hulk at his angriest and Doomsday at his strongest reborn-est.

I wanna hear MKO's opinion on this matter. Sure you guys have knowledge on all this kind of stuff.

Let the shitstorm begin.

WWH Hulk is powerful enough his footsteps could damage the planet.

Pretty sure Doomsday can't do that.

Can you give me a basis on how strong world war hulk is? All I know is regular Hulk and Planet Hulk Hulk.

WWH Hulk is pretty much Planet Hulk, just angrier. I can't really describe his strength in concrete terms because it wasn't like it was measured or anything. But him and Sentry fist fighting threatened to destroy the Earth solely from shockwaves and fallout alone.

Meanwhile, the shockwaves from Superman's fight with Doomsday just shattered skyscraper windows.

Hmm. That confirms my questioning about that Goku vs Superman fight.

ANYWAYS. If hulk has such a strong incarnation, isn't there a stronger version of Doomsday or is that only one doomsday that superman fought.

Well Superman was less powerful in the 90's when he fought Doomsday than he is now. I believe Screw Attack was using, for his strength, an actual number, such and such quintillion tons, from the alternate universe story All-Star Superman, where he'd been juiced up by the sun to "three times his previous record" but was slowly dying as a result of the overcharge. (Note that in the mainstream universe, this actually wouldn't kill him. He's taken sun-dips to supercharge himself for a big fight with a cosmic entity before with no lasting harm to himself.)
Anyway, Doomsday's superpower is that every time you kill him, he comes back to life immune to whatever killed him the last time. So like if you shot him in the brain with heat vision, he'd have a thicker skull that heat vision can't zap through. So yeah, I think he is stronger and tougher than he was in the 90's because Superman killed him with punching, but I wouldn't be able to tell you how much and I sincerely doubt it's as strong as the Hulk because the Hulk is like the most broken fucking character in comics, physical strength-wise.
The whole "the madder he gets, the stronger he gets" thing is a fucking problem because how do you even know when a person is "as mad as they can ever possibly be", right?

I stopped reading right after WWH so maybe they retconned it but he was not THAT powerful LOL !

He was just angrier than he has ever been because of everything Stark, Richards etc. (his friends no less) had done to him and put him through. Add in that the ship blew up and killed his wife and unborn child and "Hulk new level of pissed !!"

Hulk has been beaten by much weaker characters than Doomsday. So far as level of rage goes Hulks rage is also that of a child (at least originally) as his father killed his mother in front of him. Doomsday also has the rage of a child as he was a baby that was murdered, cloned, murdered, cloned etc. to force evolution. All he knows is rage and pain. Gotta give the "Bottomless Rage" edge to Doomsday.

I like Hulk more but gotta give it to Doomsday. Would be a awesome fight though ! Did anyone else notice that Doomsday talked in the trailer ? The only time I know that he talked was when Brainiac had control of him. He is mindless for the most part . Also when he is standing in the background in the fortress stage that struck me funny. Doomsday is an engine of destruction. He is always on the move smashing anything he sees. I haven't read Supes for a few years though and have no idea about New 52 Doomsday. Anybody think there could be anything to these 2 things ?

hulk regardless since the angrier he gets the stronger he becomes
