Of course not, though I would love some form of "non-fatal finish"...maybe even an MKX brutality-like finish where any special or super move performed as the final blow produces a dramatic effect. It's not that hard for them to do.

I think that's their purpose in putting in the buttons/strings for finishers to do more damage.
