Yeah, hearing that they jumped ahead in time and made Dick Nightwing is why I started watching again.

I hated that. I'm not a big fan of Nightwing/Dick compounded with the fact that they put Tim Drake in and skipped Jason Todd it's like ugh.

The voice sounds like how I imagine Superman but its more likely going to be Luthor.

Also: excited.

WelI I loved the timeskip. For one thing, it allows the show to be generational. And that's the best thing about the DC universe: the legacy characters. (At least it was before the reboot erased most of them...) I love that DC was the universe where characters actually grew up and passed down their mantles to new kids and protegés weren't stuck in training forever, they could actually "graduate". And normally you can't get that in a cartoon because they're only a couple seasons long.

And like I said, I hated season 1 because of the characters' personalities. A time jump allowed them to have the characters stop being obnoxious and become mature without spending years waiting for them to get there.

I mean, normally, my preference in any form of entertainment is to SEE character development, to watch the people in the story grow and evolve...but this show was one occasion where I just hated the starting versions of the characters so bad that waiting for them to grow up would've been actively painful so the show skipping ahead 5 years was an act of mercy to me.

I think that's another reason I didn't like the time skip. Five years is a long ass time.
I like where the characters are now, or rather I liked where they were the last time I watched the show.

I wonder what are the odds of getting a few more Young Justice characters. I'd like to see Ms. Martian, or even Martian Manhunter.

Martian Manhunter was one of the most asked for as DLC for MK vs DC, so one would imagine he'd make the cut for this game. Especially with it being completely DC centered this time.
