You have no idea how bad bro, that his inclusion to me would mean. You realize he's not been in really any game outside Justice League Heroes on PS2 Days? Having manhunter in this game, id be 100% satisfied with just that announcement. I come to mko EVERY day, hoping to see his confirmation in the game. It means the world to me that he makes it. I feel bad already that he's not announced yet, just for your sake lol. I know you've been asking for him since the reveal of the game. I too hope he makes it in, can't wait to see his powers finally. Don't lose hope though, I'd say there's a very strong chance he'll be in. Also, his logo was on the comic book cover for the collector's edition reveal.
Very true bro, yes. It dates all the way back to MKvsDCU, there still might be post on here where i requested his presence that game but was denied due to it being the most popular which was acceptable. I understood that, but Injustice is a different take on DC it's not for the most recognizable, but the ones that matter most to the fans. There's no inexplicable reason, Martian Manhunter is not capable of being in this game. He's so underrated in everything. Media wise it's like a blackout in his opportunity's to be in something major. The marketing for MM is so distant in parallel as opposed to other, more fortunate character like the obvious ones blowing up the market today. We all know this day in age who superman is, batman, etc.. The list goes on. But if you ask someone outside your door who Manhunter is, chances are they never heard of him. Which to his credit is very degradable. I take nothing from the fans or the characters who've inspired the writers, artist, directors, video game creators for their interest in the market of whats popular and will endorse sales. I'm totally understanding of that.
However, this is 2013, now. People have grown into the comic universe and have stretched far beyond what we are given in movies today. Community's of fans love the universe. Us as a Whole, feed off different, or unique characters. Others like you and I, we dig into plots, backgrounds, abilities, fundamentals of the characters we only read about or see through imagery. I myself know, and others as well what Superman is capable of. We have so many movies and what not that has already given us all we need to know about the likes of him and his background.
It's in an era where we need new people in comics to look up to. To talk about. To get posters, figures, memorabilia. There's not enough diversity in the world of comic movies. It doesn't stretch far enough into the world of these characters. Manhunter has been around since the 50's, and he never once had his own tv show. Nothing. Today, we live more so in the future now then we ever have. SCIFI is a big element in entertainment. Look at movies like Predator, Aliens, Prometheus, District 12, Gears of War, Halo, Skyline, Total Recall. All these movies are based upon scifi. And the fact that Manhunter being that he's from mars could have one of the most amazing films, because of scifi being as big as it is.
I just think he's way over-due in that he has so much potential to be a character a lot of people could learn to love. Look past Superman and Batman, give people like him a chance to shine and bring fourth his background and story and let us see a different side of a character, someone so much more interesting then superman (no offense) bring that character to life through more media and I assure you, it will clique.
That's all I have to say, Here's to hoping he makes it.
