Injustice: Ultimate Edition Wide Release Coming November

Injustice: Gods Among Us Comes to PS4, Vita & PC in Komplete Form.

Injustice: Gods Among Us will finally be bundled into a single box when the Ultimate Edition begins shipping November 12 in the United States.

The Ultimate Edition will include all previously released downloadable content, but more importantly, will bring the title to new platforms: PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita and PC all receiving the complete title.

The Ultimate Edition will return to PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, but no release for the Nintendo Wii U platform has been announced. An international release will arrive November 29. US copies also include the tie soundtrack, featuring Depeche Mode.

Injustice: Ultimate Edition includes the six DLC characters: Lobo, Batgirl, General Zod, Martian Manhunter, Zatanna & Mortal Kombat's Scorpion. Share your thoughts about the all-in-one Ultimate Edition in the DC Universe Injustice forum.

I knew it was coming but I'm still annoyed. Buy the game on Day 1 and buy the DLC and you'll get screwed.

At least it doesn't seem to be like Mortal Kombat Vitality where the Vita got exclusive shit.

I mean I didn't want missions. All of the costumes.

Does this effectively mark the end of DLC? I was hoping they'd at least fill in the last two slots on the character select screen. It looks kind of awkward as it is.

While it's nice to get an Ultimate release for those who haven't played it yet. I feel no loss in it not being on the Xbox One. I had fun with it on the 360, but I feel Killer Instinct is the next game I'm moving onto. The breif time I spent playing it, I felt it was an easier game to pick up compared to Injustice, but like I said, it's nice that gamers who waited will have a chance to pick up the comeplete version and have the option to get it on a next gen system.

I'm glad I waited.

Much like MK2011, I'm going to get all of the characters and skins without having to pay for them all.

EDIT: Okay, I really didn't wait. I bought that fucker the moment it came out. I'm still getting the Ultimate Edition, though.

Ah yes. My patience has been rewarded. Because I remember I was mad as all fuck when the Komplete Edition of Mortal Kombat came out lol.

About time. I've been interested in this game, but refused to have a repeat of MK9, blowing over a hundred bucks on the game and its add-ons. As soon as I see it for $40, I'll grab it.

I'd say yes, but you never know. Borderlands 2 is releasing a GOTY edition with all the DLC released so far but other DLC is going to be released after the GOTY edition comes out.

Yep, me too. It's how I buy video games now. If there's a game I'm interested in, and it is even remotely successful, I just wait for some type of GOTY edition. Worst case scenario I end up buying the standard edition later for cheap and get the DLC separate still saving money. Only real thing I get angry about now is platform and console exclusive crap.

People who got this game April 2013, paid $60 for it plus $30 for DLC #fail. People who will pay $60 or less for ultimate edition with all DLC included #win.

Here's the problem though with everyone waiting for the expanded/GOTY edition:

It's not guaranteed.

I can't think of any game that didn't sell well, that had DLC, that ever got a re-release with all of the DLC on-disc (I could be wrong though, I obviously don't follow every game), and not even every game that does well gets an expanded edition.

So most of the time (maybe all of the time), if the game doesn't do well enough to begin with, there will BE no second release.

That $120 is the game plus DLC, including the season pass. Not separately.

I figure I spent about an additional $50 on the game through DLC for nearly all the DLC content with the exception of the Ami-comi skin pack, because I managed to get a deal on the pre-order bonuses so I didn't have to buy them post launch.

True, it's a risk. But it was pretty easy to see that, given the success of this game, that WB would follow the same business model as the MK release.

What I don't get is why are they making a Ultimate Edition for PS4? Enough with the PS3 and Vita version of the game. I just hope NRS doesn't become like Capcom that keep screwing their fans with a Gazillion versions of a Street Fighter game.

This was pretty much my line of thinking. Between MK, UMvC3, and all the Street Fighters I just don't buy fighting games Day 1.

I don't really see it as a "risk" myself. You wait for a potential GOTY type edition to come out and if if doesn't you just buy the game and DLC later. More than likely the game itself will have dropped some amount so you're still saving money.

I could see the argument if there's a large online component to a game. You may miss out on some of that, but again speaking personally, that doesn't apply to me as my PS3 is no where near an Internet connection.

this is cool but im getting extra money soon now i can finally buy the game. never bought komplete edition for mk cause i bought it day one. probably will do the same for injustice buy the game and over time buy the DLC

I dont know.

Sometimes they (Borderlands, Halo 4 etc)release some DLC just before the GOTY edition to attract people to that version.

BUT they have been really quiet on more DLC, while not saying there isn't any more coming.
