... but, of course, MKO does -- so no sillybuggers!
You can check out partial previews [ie; issue #1], or try to hide behind the racks at the comic store and read the print versions quickly when no one's looking. There used to be places called bookstores that would sometimes let you read over coffee, but they died.

They DO sell them at the comic book store, in 3 chapter issues...for $4. So if the real reason is you don't have a card, and you aren't just being cheap...go and get the issues there.
If not, have a friend let you read theirs.
No reason to pirate things, especially when it's something you want to support.

Most comic shops and bookstores let you read em in their shops with no prob. The comic shop i visit in CA (im from AZ and sadly the nearest comic comic shop is 1hr away) lets you read comics in the back area with tables and couches.
If you visit a book shop/comic store that offers seating, great chance you can reaf em free. Though if I could id buy em on print since I like a good read, but ill jjst wait patient for me CE comic for now :)

Hate to break it to you but he isn't being stupid about some stuff being online for free. Several older comics and Manga ARE available online to read and it is NOT piracy. Most are posted by the creators who are also the owners. Off the top of my head I know the entire Elfquest series is online. The old Battle of the Planets were as well till a few years ago when whoever it was bought the rights and started making new comics.
That said...Yes this is completely different. These are brand NEW comics. Why would they charge for them in digital if they were going to give them away somewhere else ? As stated above you can still buy them in print at your local comic shop or bookstore. Wait for the trade collection and order it off Amazon. Trust me (I've been collecting since '88), as well as the series is doing it WILL be in trade format sooner rather than later

Free content provided by creators or publishers isn't 'not considered piracy' - it's free content.
Exactly, he stated that he read stuff online and that was not considered piracy and he probably has. Just saying he wasn't being stupid about that. People tend to get real upset, real quick at the mere mention of free stuff online and automatically assume piracy. Gets old after awhile.
Not understanding why this situation is different does make him seem a little stupid LOL
