Looks like his suit is in a case, yes. So he isn't just in the background. which does add to the possibility of his inclusion. Had he been in the background, that would have made it much less of a possibility.

So who knows. Either way, cool that he gets a mention.

I think this place might be where Superman keeps all the heroes/villains that appose his rule. He captures them and keeps them there. Possibly. Maybe. I have no Idea.

Well, if that were the case, why is it just Fate's attire on display? Seems a little odd for Superman to display their attire, with them nowhere to be found. Especially because he'd just kill Fate given the current story, not just hold him hostage. So then it would maybe be him displaying the clothes and picture of the people he kills, but that just seems odd and out of character, as well as pointless.

Could also be a memorial to those who have fallen to superman, but I don't really see the point in that either.

I will also point out that the costume of Fate that's being displayed, is very simple and almost "classic" feeling. It looks very reminiscent of his classic attire. Whereas, in this game, everyone seems to have a lot of detail with changes to their attires. So it's possible this is a stage belonging to Fate, and his outfit is there because it's his own display.

Lastly, I will mention that the small photo on the computer screen of Fate's helmet and top of his chest, looks much more like an actual in-game model. Like it's actually him, rather than just his outfit. The helmet looks like it's a 3D model, as well as the medallion and what little we can see of his outfit. So that's the best clue contributing to a thought that maybe he will be featured in story, or included as DLC etc. Because as we saw with Joker's picture in the batcave, it was of his in-game model.

The classic feeling costume could be paying homage to a Dr. Fate costume from the past. That could be a possibility. I also agree with your idea about the screen showing a newer model. I hope he is in the game. He would be a good addition...

Man...now that I look at it more, it probably is just Superman's little trophy room where he keeps people contained. Like a jail for superheroes. Ugh. Which means the Fate stuff is merely a background decoration.

You are likely right, in that it is Hawkman or another hero in the cylinder case in the right. Which means it's an actual person being held there, not just their outfit.

Which led me to look back at Fate, and it might actually be him in there, rather than just the outfit. I didn't see his head/helmet at first glance, thinking it was just the suit, but now I realize the machine displaying the screen is obstructing out view of where Fate's head would be. And he looked like he had no hands, but those are full gauntlet/gloves he has, so his hand could just be at an angle that blends in with his wrist/forearm etc.

Lastly, this led me to look around even more, and I noticed the giant regime banner hanging down in the background. Which means the place supports Superman and his reign etc. So that leads to further proof of it being some sort of jail/containment center.

Oh well...it was a fun little up and down rollercoaster of thinking Fate may have a shot. Maybe next time. lol

The picture is likely from the fight video we will get on Fri. as was the Bane image we got last time, so we'll likely see exactly what the stage contains, and who all is contained. Definitely will expose who won't be making the cut. If Martian Manhunter is in one, prepare for a large public outcry.

I think the comparison to Joker appearing on a screen like that is onto something. But maybe just characters who have been killed appear on the screen? And Superman keeps them as trophies, possibly.

I figured when we got that blurry pic of him that he was being contained somehow. Looks like the screen above him is giving some information, vitals and such perhaps.

Geez, Cap. Marvel's primary and alt are so god damn fucking awful. Why couldn't they go with the Alex Ross look? This costume he has looks so stupid and ugly. Nether Realm needs to seriously work on their alts. They're not even alts, it's like a reworking of the characters primary to look kinda different and have some little changes. This is my only grip so far.

Captain Marvel just has the NRS touch added to his current comic look. It's definitely not his best look though.

Yeah the NRS look of putting a hood on the guy for no reason. To me it's like Ermacs primary and alt, the alt was so much like the original it was dumb. Oh but they added a hooded trench coat so it is an alt! The design team is lazy. Case in point, Aquaman's alt too. Such little subtle changes..

They can't really go crazy with DC though. We expect characters to look a certain way. Also NRS didn't put that hood on him, DC did.

I have better question - what with his face? It really looks strange, if not to say somewhat ugly.
