Luthor would never join with Superman unless it was a plan to gain control or to kill Superman.

Luthor joining with Batman isn't unheard of. It happened in Kingdom Come.

I expect some fighting between people on the same side, as well as characters switching sides when they feel they are fighting for the wrong side etc. So I wouldn't take characters fighting each other as "oh man, they must be on opposite sides!".

So that was Black Adam with the snake boots thingy.

Looks like they may have taken some inspiration from Egypt with his design so he wouldn't look so similar to Captain Marvel. He doesn't look quite as armory as some of the other characters but I can't really tell.

Based on the design, he doesn't look like a story mode NPC. Those boots, gauntlets, and the protoman cape all point to him being playable if you ask me. Plus, most characters have a corresponding villain in the roster, so... yeah.

I didn't think Black Adam was suppose to have a cape, though.

Yeah, but Grodd resembles his comic counterpart at a level that Black Adam doesn't. Adam looks redesigned from the ground up. To me, this seems like the developers trying to preempt the "Adam is just a Black Shazam" criticism, and why would they do that if Black Adam wasn't playable?

Grodd does have a lot of detail, though. The main skepticism about Grodd was his size. I just don't know how a model that big could have conventional moves and hitboxes.

Maybe Warner Brothers gave NRS the inside scoop that Black Adam will be bald in the Shazam movie. LoL. Its been heavily rumored for awhile now and The Rock is supposedly gonna be BA.

I know that Black Adam is playable due to all of the magazines and IGN claiming that they saw him and he's playable. I was just pointing out that he's detailed like Grodd is, I still think that Injustice is going to have three sub-bosses (Doomsday and Grodd being two out of the three) like MK9 did.

I guess I was thinking that NRS was going to make Black Adam look alot like Shazam but now he's bald which is fine with me, at least it's something new.

Sad thing is...I'm pretty sure that's actually The Rock's hairline these days. On topic. Trailer was awesome. Just put in my pre-order yesterday. Can't wait for story mode.

K so i have never seen Black Adam before and i know nothing about him but i think he looks so badass in this. Im obsessed with Egyptian things so I really hope he is playable now.

He looks pretty badass to me. This is definitely an alt, just like all the other characters are in their alts in the story trailers, this has to be Black Adam's alt. Pretty sure he's playable too. He's way too detailed not to be.

Really awesome design. I honestly don't miss the hair...Sinestro has the widow's peak thing covered.

I agree, and it bothers me. Black Adam has a very distinct facial structure and even with the hair photoshopped onto his head, it still doesn't really look like him. That's distracting for me.

However, I'm not a hardcore BA fan. I'll let them decide if it's good or not.
