I am a huge fan of Mortal Kombat have been for as long as I can remember 23 now, and I remember playing MK when I was in elementary school.

So you can imagine the disappointment when MK vs. DC Universe Came out for PS3 and Xbox 360 but not for Wii.

Don't know what gives I mean I have Armageddon on Wii.

If anybody can provide incite as to why it would be appreciated.

Thanks grin

It is because MK vs. DC uses Unreal Engine 3, a game engine the Wii is incapable of using.

MK vs DC on Wii? Ok, Now all we have to do is figure out the consumers willing to invest the time fighting with something that looks like a living room t.v. remote. Yeah, that works. Sure. Not to mention Mk vs Dc has been out for quite some time now for Xbox 360 and Ps3.

You are aware that the Wiimote has buttons like a normal controller, right?

The MK team is kinda not in the position to import it to another console. The sales for MK were terrible, imagine the sales on a "Family-Friendly" console.

Facts disagree.

The Wii's massive user base would only add to that.

I guess Midway just felt like going bankrupt. And with the mostly casual market and the recent financial failures for more "mature" games such as MadWorld, No More Heroes, Armageddon, House of the Dead, The Conduit, and Dead Space Extraction. It would be a poor move on WB's part to publish a game with a violent history as Mortal Kombat which would make consumers warry of purchasing a game with big breasted scantly clad women fighting each other. The fact is if you're looking for a hardcore console, the Wii is not for you. EDIT: Okay why the hell is my text linking to your link?

If Unreal Engine 3 can run on an iPhone/iPod touch, I'd think that it was more than capable of running on a Wii.

Epic has refused to port their engine to Wii. Some other team was supposed to convert it to Wii but it has been two years in development.

Family Friendly! Just because it HAS famly friendly games does not meen thats all its got! Take a look at House of the Dead": Over Kill. that game is in the guiness book of world records for the most Cussing in a game (not to mention the game deels with demans and incest). And also lets not forget that Mortal Kombat ARmageddon came out on wii and that was rated "M" wile MK vs DCU was rated "T".

The real reason they did not put MK vs DCU on wii is graphics. Wii just cant push the Unreal 3 graphics
