Superman looks significantly different especially from the shins. It is possible, but could as well prove out a desperate attempt to lure readers.

Very true, I was thinking the same thing when I first saw it. I'm also thinking maybe it was an original concept, and DC didn't like it lol and made em switch it or something; or perhaps a second costume design.

Well, there is definetly some simallaritys. The S logo belt and such. But the cape doesn't go over his shoulders and connects with the chest logo so the design has definetly changed over time. But I do think this is real. So if they are, Aquaman will use the trident and a dagger of some sort. I also love how they incorporate the scales on the costume.

Obviously these are all unused versions of the designs.

I like Aquaman having a bubble of water around his head at all times though, that's kind of a neat idea. I also really, REAAAAALLY wish they had gone with a war-skirt like Wonder Woman has here instead of bland fuckin' pants. The bow and arrow is cool too, does she have a bow move in the game? She oughtta (unless Green Arrow made it in, I guess). Also kinda neat how the gray parts of Batman's costume look like that "digital camo" pattern the military uses nowadays.

GL looks a little weird though, seems like it's going for a more armored version of the "shaped like muscles" costume from the movie, which I don't think anybody liked the movie costume much so I dunno why you'd pick that as the thing to copy...

If it were me, I'd look at GL and go "Well he makes his costume with the ring, right? The green and white parts are made of light and the black parts are darkness..." and design him to look like a character from Tron. That would make sense to me.

I mean...the movie almost kinda does that by having all the spaces in between the "muscles" crackle and glow with energy, but it's not the same, it didn't have any solid black areas so it lacked the cool negative space effect.
Supes' suit having plugholes like an Evangelion character is a bit odd too. Certainly does look more alien than usual, though. I could definitely buy it as a Kryptonian spacesuit or something like that, if that's the direction you want to go with the character (though personally, I prefer it when the costume's origin is that Ma Kent sewed it out of his Kryptonian baby blankets, so it's made of alien material but still looks like clothes of a human design...).
