Thing that caught my eye the most was the ERROR MACRO mission. Wonder if Ermac really will make an appearance.

Error Macro is already a shout out.

These missions seem to set Lex up for something.

or it could just be an easter egg similar to quan chis amulet being in the backround of one of the stages
