I love how they had Jim Lee design Scorpion for this game. While it's not a design I would like to see in an MK game, it works for this...I do prefer it in the sketch tho.

Looks pretty similar to MK in terms of moves, but I like what I see here. I really like the redesign for this game, quite an interesting take on him. I love his clash move though, pretty wicked stuff.

His intro and outro were pretty great. Sub Zero once again getting his ass beat lol

His super was okay. Could've been better but I do like it.

Most excited DLC character for me right now is Scorpion.

I know right btw. Out of all the characters Scorpion looks the best IMO even though I was salty when I saw that trailer.

Im very glad they re-designed him and not just by the NRS team but by JIM LEE :D I still feel however he doesn't belong, and his moves aren't very new or interesting to me...but I got the season pass so im stuck with him. He does look very cool tho.

Also rumors say that Sub-Zero is in the next DLC, and by that intro it looks like he wasn't really redesigned. =/

Sub-Zero's model is the same from MK9. If the second pass is true then it's likely he hasn't been worked on yet.

Are we getting this tomorrow? Or do we have to wait a week?

I watched it again and seen the trait. Looks like Inferno Scorpion. And I forgot to mention his throw is amazing.

Yeah his throw is boss. Looks like his vortex is back aswell, I hope he got buffed since MK9.

I'm really happy they got Jim Lee to design Scorpion. I said in another thread, "Scorpion needs a redesign for this game". MK9 is still fresh in our heads, so what else would Scorpion have to offer? NRS answered this with a design overhaul! My favorite newly designed character in MK9 was Noob. Which(oddly enough)shares similarities to the Phantasm from the Batman Animated movie.
You can tell that Scorpion borrows from Noob's head design, which is awesome!
Still though, not as excited for an MK character in the game.....but I'm not horribly disappointed. If Sub-Zero is in the game(eventually)I really want to see his design inspired by MK Deception.

The only saving grace is that MMH was teased at the end, but I still think Zod is going to be in somehow.

I think Scorpion's super could have been better. Rather than raising some pillars at the start of the super, he should have summoned a bunch of other Scorpions like his UMK3 fatality and just beat the crap out of his opponent.

I'm kind of disappointed he made the roster, but I'm glad they redesigned him. His move set looks almost identical to MK9 save for his throw. His Clash is pretty cool too.

They're definitely going to need something big to get gamers to download the capability pack and Blackest night Superman will probably do it.

Costume looks like something between MKDA (best designs) and MK (plain designs). Generally it's nice, but for this game only.

Gameplay-wise, Scorps looks a lot like his MK9-self.

I guess, rumors about second DLC batch are true.

While I do think some of his animations should have been polished up...MK9 did a great job individualizing characters and keeping The familiarity from game to game is a good thing...Something I'd like to see from MK going forward...

Wow. I loved everything about him except his super. Looks extremely fun to play. Fuck the Scorpion Haters. Lol. I don't wanna see this design in MK 10 but it works well for the comic book universe.

Same shit as MK9, fire animation still sucks, the design is meh.

This is the first time that i've been very very meh about Scorpion's design. I was really looking forward to him, as I was probably one of the only ones to be, but his design is one thing I was really excited for. I'll have to see it on my tv to make judgement.
