At the least, DLC where there is a variation in the constructs that still maintain the same effect. A Red Lantern would be plenty unique enough, but with a limited roster, I could see Atrocitus being DLC in maybe a Lantern DLC pack or something.

I'd be all for Kyle, John, and/or Guy as an alt costume for Hal done similarly to the human alts for Sektor and Cyrax in MK9.

As for separate characters, every hero in the game should have at least one villain to go with them, and the most natural choice for GL is Sinestro, whose ring constructs would surely have a "fear"-themed flavor all his own...he most often makes medieval weapons, mythological beasts, and skeletal hands, whereas Hal favors more generic stuff like giant fists/boxing gloves, brick walls, and occasionally pilot-themed shapes like jets to crash into people, turbines to blow them away, or even a mech suit with airplane wings and cockpit shape to it, to augment his blows.

Personally, I would love to see Atrocitus in the game, as DLC if necessary. Of all the lanterns, the burning blood-puke is probably the most unique combat ability any of them have.

I agree about the alts. And finally someone that notices that they could alt gl for multiple green lanterns. But other than that i know diddly squat about gl.(Except for gl tas)

I'd like to see Green Lantern (Hal Jordan) and Sinestro just to start out with the original roster. Also, like mentioned a Lantern Pack with: Atrocitus and Star Sapphire would fit in very well.

Beyond that I don't want to see anymore Lantern characters. As much as I'd like to see the others in the form of costumes, that would probably cost just as much to add an extra whole character for voicing and different mocaping; plus the other Green Lanterns should live up to their themes as well which are different than each other, Hal fights different than Kyle and the others so it would be a somewhat mis-interpretation. I'd rather see a whole another fighter instead of that.

I'd say Green Lantern (one playable character, multiple alts with changes to the constructs) and Maybe Sinestro since its just nice for everyone to have a villian! Plus Sinestro is just bad ass, Mark Strong was the best thing about the GL movie in my opinion.

Not necessary. A GL only moves his body in one way for everything he does, "thrust ring-hand forward". And alt skins have to have all the same hit boxes to work anyway.

They could change minor cosmetic details about the constructs to differentiate them, though. Like how Cyrax's bombs are grenades as a cyborg and bottles full of liquid as a human, and his teleport shows a smokebomb poof as a human and a glowing circuit pattern as a robot.

For instance, where Hal makes a boxing glove, Stewart (the most likely choice, for racial diversity) could make a plain old fist. Hal makes a claw hammer, John makes a sledgehammer. Hal makes a wall of bricks, John makes a wall of steel girders. All the same basic shapes but slightly different in appearance.

Very true; maybe that could be his overall extra costume or one of them.

all GL's should be in as alts, Hal Jordan=Main, Alan Scott=2nd, John Stewart=3rd, Guy Gardner=4th and Kyle Raynar=5th. And all four Flash's, Barry Allen=Main, Jay Garrick=2nd, Wally West=3rd (Kid Flash costume), Bart Allen=4th (Impulse costume)

One Green Lantern character, but a skin for each human Green Lantern would be kinda cool.

I denounce Hal Jordan.

The only Green Lantern I want in this game is Jon Stewart.

And yes, it is partially because he's black.

It's a shame that except for the JLU version, John is the most boring of all the Lanterns by a stunningly wide margin. Like they're not even trying.

He's not boring.

He's calm and mature. That's why I like him.

Other than Sinestro no. I don't want there to be too many of one character's universe in the game.

But for DLC they could put some in, not for the main roster.

There are lots of calm and mature superheroes who manage to say and do interesting things. Like Batman and Wonder Woman.

John, not so much.

It doesn't help that every time he's the main character of a story, the plot just ends up being a ripoff or repeat of the episode of JLU where he's put on trial for blowing up a planet, which was the most boring fuckin' episode of the show.
I'd say maybe the dude needs a love interest to spice him up, since he didn't grow a personality on the show until he started dating Hawkgirl, but honestly, if having Guy friggin' Gardner as your partner doesn't rub off any charisma onto you, pairing you with anyone else probably ain't gonna work either.

I would mind Hal getting his MKDC costume as an alt. It was great.

No. Only as alternates like everyone else says. I think if Hal makes it Jon will be an alt. And personally I think it's a shame. Hal Jordan has had other cool costumes in the past like yellow, red, blue, white, parallax, and his Justice Armor.

It's also annoying that DC seems to be using the GL franchise to pack in their minorities. They have a black guy they didn't need to create, they made Alan Scott gay, and now they got a new Arabian GL for issue zero. I have nothing against super heroes being something other than white, but it's just annoying that they can't just make a new super hero who happens to be Arabian.

Lol. I hope it doesn't get me hated on, but I think the exact same thing. I felt like the john stewart green lantern was chosen for justice league because he was black. They lacked a black character and it was going to seem racist if they didn't have a black hero. Therefore John Stewart was chosen even though Hal Jordan is obviously the most well known and most popular Green Lantern character.

Then a few months back when the news came of DC revealing a MAJOR character to be gay I automatically knew it would be a green lantern. Like it wasn't even an option for anyone else I said right then and there which Green Lantern is going to be gay? It's so easy for them to cop out on stuff like that because in the green lantern universe it's like there are an infinite number of green lanterns so it doesn't really matter if one is a different race, or one is gay because in the end there are an infinite number of green lanterns that they can choose to do anything with.
